A couple of quick questions, as we are going to be Nov filers.

1. My wife entered on 3 Feb 2013, so 90 days prior is 5 Nov. Does that mean the package should not be postmarked before the 5th or should not be received until the 5th?

2. We never recieved her orginal greencard (thanks USPS). We filed the I-90, but it was denied because it wasn't USCIS's fault it was the post office's fault. The local USCIS office, just stamped her passport with a temporary I-551 and said we could wait. (Which is what we have done). Will that cause us any problems? Of course, I'll include that info along with the denied I-90 info in my cover letter.

thanks in advance.

Sorry for not adding our name correctly. I don't see where to change the VJ Text Editor to Rich Text.

Tough questions....at least for me but I will take a shot.

1. the 90 days is the date on GC so if you never got it, how can you be sure the date it expires?

2. why was I-90 denied? did you pay the 450 fee? the 751 definitely says to include a copy of it.

To answer your questions..

1. Because I know the conditional residency expires 2 years after entering the US. (Additionally, USCIS sent us a reminder to file for ROC).

2. I did not pay the fee, because the instructions clearly stated that if the request was due to never receiving the original GC, there is no fee.

Thanks again.
