This sentence might be of particular interest for all of us waiting here for there NOAs:

"For the cases initially filed for premium processing, the 15-day premium processing period begins on April 12, the day petitions were selected through the random selection process."

Trying to be optimistic I suppose the Service Centers were super-busy with processing the premium H1Bs in the last two weeks, but from now on the remaining H1Bs will not be processed with high priority anymore, so at least some of the adjudicators can get back to processing the K visas.

Too wishful thinking? What do you think?

I'm not worried at all. I just cant believe that they would just completely stop processing k1 visas. I dont buy into that 45 day thing either. I know they are way too slow, but they have been giving touches and noa2's sparingly.

Maybe another week for us 1/29 people??

Keep hope & positive.

I think the 45 addtional days is an estimate, and the explanation makes PARTIAL sense. That is, DFC's processing has been added to the workload of CSC.

I don't know about the H1 work visas adding to the workload explains much, unless there was a shift in the offices that process them. Isn't the H1 work visa influx an annual thing? One year ago, there was not a similar slowdown in NOA2s from CSC.

Great! I hope you receive approval soon. My NOA1 date is January 26, so your file WAS on top of mine, among many others. Thank you CSC for taking some weight off, I can breath a little easier.:no:

Haven't some of the approvals came in the middle of the night emails? I think I remember some of the members posting times that were at really odd hours. At any rate, there is still some time left in the day.

I would only believe that one when I saw the NVC receipt date, or confirmation from the member. Otherwise I can't come up with a justifiable reason why it would be approved so quickly on a K visa. I'm thinking maybe a bit of confusion. But thats just me.
