I found several problems in the timeline database and the search program. The database problem is there are several cases with more than one timeline entry. The beginning-end date function does not work as the search function implies because beginning/end-dates may not be included. These numbers are very close, but may be a case or two off:

Hello all,

I received my NOA2 notification on friday the 27th. I also got touched on saturday the 28th. I have not received the hard copy yet.

The touch on saturday could be that CSC mailed my approval to NVC???

Also what is needed to get my case # from NVC? Do I have to wait to receive hard copy of the NOA2 to give NVC my approval number?

I have packet 3 ready to go, just waiting for NVC to send off my approval to the embassy in Colombia.

Thanks!

>>>

INQUIRING ABOUT CASE NUMBER:

NVC Info (to find out when your case arrives/leaves there and to get NVC Case number):

Call (603) 334-0700 - press "1" for English then "5" to speak to a rep on the phone. Be ready with USCIS case number, beneficiary name and birthdate. K1 visas are NOT entered into the automatic system. Reps are available 7:30 AM - 12 midnight Eastern time. Call right after they open or right before they close for best results - during the day lines are always busy.

>>>

I saw this info somewhere here on VJ. I think you should wait a couple days though before you start calling NVC....

Good luck!
