For you CSC filers, I think you guys are right on schedule. Realize a lot of you guys have been approved in a relatively extremely quick manner. TSC is waiting on average for the same paperwork to be processed in an average of 6-8 months. Part of the reason, CSC is probably not updating the shipment of your cases to CSC is because they already know that have a backlog of approved cases waiting to ship. And the reason you guys are probably seeing two months for NVC your cases is likely due to how quickly they're churning out approvals. TSC on the other hand sees and average of 1 - 7 days before cases are shipped out and received. I doubt that cases from TSC and CSC are processed the same at NVC for simple fact of where they come from. So imagine I imagine that CSC has an NVC backlog of shipments, and NVC has a backlog of processing CSC and vice vesa for TSC since TSC is barely cranking out any, our process just goes faster (for the most part) with NVC. CSC I think you guy should just sit back and enjoy the ride. You knew when you signed on for this it was going to take according to the government at least 5 months for this process to be finished, so for the time being there is nothing you can do but just wait and keep checking for updates. . .

Exactly, we all have to play the waiting game at some point. For you TSC guys it's for the NOA2 and (potentially) for us CSC lot it's for NVC (although I appreciate the wait TSC people have is often a lot longer, I'm not belittling what you guys go through!)

I think I need to just calm down and wait for progress to be made without harassing NVC :P

No. We aren't right on schedule. Our cases have been misdirected to the wrong facility. You would know that if you bothered to read the thread instead of just offering your useless lecture.

I don't wish for anyone else's case to get lost but I sure do think some people need to have it happen to them.

Some of us aren't CSC filers. We were at TSC and transferred to CSC. Our waiting time for the NOA2 was right around the estimated time (5-6 months). Tomorrow, I will have reached the 8 month mark since my NOA1. That is a fair amount of time even by TSC standards.

And while you have a very logical explanation, I don't think that's the case for us. I do think your explanation is legit in explaining why post-NOA2 CSC applications generally take longer than TSC to reach NVC. We are a small minority among CSC approved petitions. Almost all have successfully reached NVC in less than 35 days and been passed onto the embassies.

And no, sorry, we cannot just wait.

That's why I said "for the most part", for cases like yours. And sorry, but you will have to "just wait and keep checking for updates", as you yourself have seen so far how foolish they've acted about elevating your claims. . .

You're far kinder than I am with these "experts."

I'm not an expert. I'm giving you guys something to think about. You ask for answers and you aren't getting any from the people you paid a service to so I gave you a logical explanation as to why your case might be in the situation it's in. There's a lot of grumbling from you guys about the pace of NVC and CSC together and I get it. But for now it is what it is. At the end of the day many of you from CSC will STILL be case 100% completed, with the NVC delays, while people who filed several months before you are waiting for their NOA2. Get mad with the system for setting you up for failure and giving you false expectations with this process due to your utter quick and rapid approvals. . .

What kind of idiot just sits and waits for something to happen? Nope, that ain't happening. Not my style.

By the way all of us are the idiots that sit and wait for something to happen because that's all we can do. We can call, we can beg, and we can plead for them to look into our cases, but until they do there is nothing for us to do but keep checking and keep sending letters so should sit back and wait just like the rest of us had to do. You didn't have to wait for 6+ months, and now you've hit a little bit of a delay you want to wild out? Child bye. Like I said previously, you knew when you signed on that this process was a hectic one. It's sad that anyone has to wait but unfortunately for you guys, now you are on the other side of the waiting game. Don't come for me unless I send for you ma'am.

Have several seats and reread my previous post. CSC has spoiled you with this fast approval that makes you think you should just blast through the rest of this process without any thought to the madness. If anyone should be complaining about their NVC wait time it should be usmsbow who actually from TSC which has a history of processing through NVC faster, mean their papers probably got lost in the shuffle. Your papers are probably not lost but waiting to be processed!

Apparently moving too fast does make your head spin because you can't seem to comprehend that clearly CSC has a backlog at NVC. If you have to ignore so many people clearly the common denominator of foolishness is you. Good luck with the rest of your case. I genuinely hate that your fast approval has led you to be wait listed for the next step and that your belief that the rest of the process is smooth sailing because of your quick approval has made you more angry with the messenger rather than the system. Shame your fast approval has made your rather cocky about the rest of the process. Direct your anger to CSC who approved you so fast now you have to wait in a long line for the next step. That's where you need to direct your attention. In the mean time, you STILL have to wait and keep checking and pushing for updates. It ain't fair but, it is what it is. . . .

Who comes to a forum and gets THAT upset with someone for posting a response and then goes back and forth with the person they are trying to undermine? Disagree and move on. Investing that much time responding to an "idiot" only makes you look like an idiot.

Marriage tip: let it go.

Free of charge advice ;)

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

You're absolutely right. It would be neat, however, if some TSC filers didn't get all up on their high horse, preaching about the system when they haven't taken time to understand the situation. I get it. They have frustrations that TSC takes longer to approve I-129Fs.

However, many of us posting in this thread have been told our files are not where they are supposed to be. Some people, who fail to read the entire thread and understand, want us to sit and wait for the process to unfold. We would prefer to take action and try to find out where our files are and how our cases can be corrected.

We aren't looking for special treatment. We're only seeking answers.

And we're also trying to help each other navigate the process, maybe also helping future VJers who may find themselves in this pickle. S

So you can see where lectures about "patience" and "the system" are lost on us?
