i really have no commends to citizenship office. I was suppost to go interview on June 3, 2015, which is way late then most people. yesterday I got an phone call to say that they have to cancel my interview and reschedule it, because my case is still in process, not sent to local office yet. and did not give me any estimation how long i have to wait. really pissed off by those officers.

Thanks. I told the lady on the phone, that i planned an oversea trip in Auguest and September, want to have the passport done by then. She put a notes on my case. I know this will not help, but just feel better.

I submet a case inquery of case outside of normal processing time.

Yes, at least I have a "we mailed you your oath ceremony letter" status, however, I did not get the e-mail/text notification with this one and I always got it with the other changes.

I interviewed and pass in Dallas field office on April 27th. I requested name change in my n400 application (big mistake). I don't have oath date yet though I was placed in line for scheduling oath on May 4. Anyone in this forum have knowledge about Dallas judicial oath schedule? Appreciate any help.

My coworker is Chinese so she anglicized her name and had a judicial ceremony. We are all at the Dallas office at work (we have 4 of us applying for citizenship, coincidentally, so we've made little game of it haha).

I just went to ask her and she said it took her 4 months to take the oath once she got placed in line for her interview. So if you were place in line May 4, you should be taking your judicial oath around early september.

This is not reliable data though, just the personal experience of one person. You would very well be called way before.

Sorry, I was not clear...She said from the day she was placed in line for the oath ceremony (got the online notification) to the day she actually took the oath, it was 4 months. I hope this helps. Keep in mind, just because it took her 4 months, doesnt mean it will be that long for you...Yours could come before Independence Day this year. As you know, there is no telling with USCIS at times...
