Another July filer here stuck in all the mountains of petitions at the TSC. It's pathetic how long this process takes for us unlucky enough to be assigned to this place. I found out I was pregnant right after we filed our petition, baby due in March. As each day goes by the fear that my fiance won't be here before the baby is born turns more and more into reality. I hope something turns around soon and they start zipping through and approving them at warp speed, but sadly I'm not holding my breath.

aw congratulations on your pregnancy!!! I know waiting is hard, but try and keep your head up!!

I'm still following the other July filers forum and literally getting more and more depressed as each day passes because they are constantly posting about NOA2 approvals.... I've been MIA from VJ for a few days now just because I can't let it run me down every single day!!

I hope everyone is doing alright, wishful thinking to some NOA 2's soon!!!!!

xx

Thank you! I know exactly what you mean. I try to only visit VJ once a week because it's always a disappointment. The other July filer forum is very depressing with all the lucky folks at the CSC getting quick NOA2s. There shouldn't be such a big discrepancy between locations and the speed with which they approve petitions.

Wow I am glad to see others are feeling like I am! When we filed I had *optimistically* hoped that this would be a done deal by November and we could have a wedding over the winter break... clearly I didnt want to admit that this was going to take what feels like forever...

So my questions is now, when it says Feb 2nd on the time processing website does that mean they will get around and respond with the NOA2 by then? or will this horrid ordeal be over with by 2/2?

Thanks & keep your heads up everybody!!! One day less!!!

Since February 2nd is a time frame based on TSC estimates, you will probably be done long before then since you are being processed at CSC.

:time: as it will help others with answering any future questions and predict, with a slight degree of accuracy, their own estimates.

P.S. I am with you on being done by November...I thought she would be here by then...little did I know I would still be waiting on NOA2 and praying for a Christmas arrival as a March filer. Good luck.

I wasn't too upset by the time frame of December 15th to December 31st, even though that's six months, but then I saw someone ask a question about the length of time from your NOA2 to the interview and issuance of a visa and apparently that's another five months or so. That let the wind out of my sail completely with a March 23rd due date for the baby. When you see people get approved in two or three months you know it's possible to work that fast, but TSC just sucks :(

Not to bring anyone down.. but this seems like the safest place to complain about the discrepancy between TSC and CSC... again. Since this topic is really supposed to just be TSC filers.

I just looked at the recent timeline for K-1 approvals, filtered by California, no transfer.. they are seriously already working on July.. and August.

Seriously? What is this? TSC is still working on April and May filers, California has CLEARLY run out of enough petitions to stop their ridiculous 30 or 60 day timeframes, and now we're kind of back where we were before the transfers. UGH, really makes me want to scream. So frustrated tonight. I keep watching our estimated date waffle back and forth from November 30 to December... when there's July filers at CSC already getting approved.. AND AUGUST! The August aren't even from the Philippines.

Honestly, I am not angry with the petitioners getting approved. I hate to see anyone wait in this process because it's exhausting and depressing. This huge discrepancy should have been dealt with already. I am angry with USCIS and how they are handling this. I just wish this process was more fair. I could understand a discrepancy.. but really - if you file and get CSC you basically have a guaranteed short wait at the minute.

Sorry I just had to vent. Geezus. :(

Maybe it would have been faster if we all relocated to CSC-serviced states and filed then. -.-

No better place to vent. I agree 100%. If CSC can move so fast on theirs, then TSC needs to pass ours over there to get approved faster. There is no reason at all there should be this big of a discrepancy just depending on what state you're lucky enough to live in....or in our case unlucky enough. I hate complaining because I realize it does no good, but we can all vent here together ?

JamesRenee, you have voiced the sentiments of many on here. What makes it so difficult is the not knowing. It's like being in a black hole, cut off from all and any communications as to what is going on. The only timescales to try base an estimate on are poorly kept records which are clearly inaccurate and infrequently (and probably improperly) updated on the USCIS website and the timelines of other VJ members, the majority of whom appear not to have complete timelines, if any at all. While some beneficiaries are able to spend lengthy periods with their USC fiance in the US while waiting for this process, many of us do not have the luxury of this flexibility and freedom, nor the budget to facilitate an indefinite period of unemployment. Add to that, the lack of ties to the beneficiary's home country, there is the real risk of being turned back at immigration, should the officials not be satisfied. Trying to plan for time off work so as not to lose any of the current year's days of leave is also a nightmare as we try to work out when and if to apply, when and if to book Christmas flights, with a small sliver of hope that perhaps, just perhaps, we may be able to get through this process before then. And yes, you are absolutely correct in that two months vs 7 or 8 is not the same. Heck, 2 months would barely have been sufficient time to tie things up on the UK side (house, job, documentation required for the interview and medical, etc), however by contrast, the lengthy wait with no indication whatsoever of a likely timescale is on the opposite end of the scale.

Our grievance is not only the length of time it is taking to adjudicate these petitions, but the vast time differences between the two service centers. It's a joke. But not funny.

I think perhaps we need a congressional inquiry into why CSC is allowed to be faster than TSC - given that the discrepancy is so huge and President Obama recently made statements on how immigration is important for families to be together.. you'd think we would have more focus on trying to keep things even or at least somewhere in the vicinity. The last huge blowup over TSC vs. CSC got April and May petitioners transferred (not all but many). Maybe if this goes on a bit longer we'll have to do the same.

When the production rates of each centre are so obviously uneven it amazes me that some states that come under TSC workload aren't permanently reallocated to CSC. There are either more adjudicators or some other reason that they are able to get through a greater volume of petitions in less time. All petitions are received at the Dallas Lockbox and then forwarded from there... surely that is the opportunity to even things out. Great if (at the moment) you're through CSC but totally unfair for TSC petitioners.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file

I used to think it was a waste of time to try and make an issue of the discrepancy between TSC and CSC but after hearing about the April/May transfers it gave me some hope. It might not be a bad idea for everyone to make inquiries about this to hopefully spur some more action.

My NOA1 was around July 17 and am hoping to get NOA2 around December. It looks like though it might get pushed to January especially with the holidays. It appears they are only on April petitioners. When are the rest of you guys expecting to reach NOA2?

This is horrible the waiting and all. I'm glad to read all of this. I haven't seen my fiancé in 10 months now. Last I saw him was December 31.

And thank god we are doing great. No fights no arguments to this date. We miss eachother more every day. Someone got "mad" at me the other day here. Because there was a certain person on another post that was "tired" of waiting. They where waiting for 2 months. From CSC. And my response was. Lol you're kidding?

And I got a response to that saying that it's the same for everyone this waiting. Whether it's 6 months or 2. I'm sorry but I don't agree. The people who are at CSC are so lucky. And have no right to complain.

Here was my rant.

I'm hoping to get approved by the end on November.

If not ughhh I don't even wanna think about a later date.

For the people who are offended by this I saw. I'm not sorry ??

Feb.23,2018: Mailed I-751 to CSC

Mar. 21, 2018: Received NOA

April.6,2018: Received extension letter

I think we should just start calling them incessantly and sending mass e-mails everyday about the problem. Maybe they will decide to do another round of transfers. It seems they have barely worked on any of the April filers who were not transferred, and they still say they are working on Feb. 2 filers.
