I don't know if it depends on the center, but two weeks after I got the notice of the alien # change I got the notice that I've been approved. I'm seeing that some people have been waiting a long time in the other processing centers and it isn't fair Hopefully yours goes fast!!

I think it does and it also depends on the country. It will be our second week tomorrow after getting the notice of alien number change. Thank you for sympathizing with us! Congratulations on your approval!

Wow serious surprise today. I checked the uscis website while I was at the gym and it says our petition was APPROVED!!! I know this is just one step in the process to our marriage, but I couldn't be happier today. I sent in the i129-f on August 3rd and received our NOA1 on September 5th. Now I just need to figure out what to do next...

Just checked the USCIS website and it says we are APPROVED! Yesterday, actually. I never got an email though, so hoping it's not some kind of glitch.

Going to go stalk the mail the next couple of weeks... fingers crossed it's real!

Omg!!!! So I saw everyone else's approval and said ah sure I'll just check. APPROVED!!!

I came here just to check that it wasn't a fluke. NOA1 on Sept 16th, NOA2 on Oct 17th (from Singapore time-zone), 31 days.

We were expecting to wait a few more months, not even expecting it by the end of 2014.

Hope everyone else is approved too!

It seems like CSC is slowing down at least according to the stats here. Glad to see some fast approvals - I don't suppose any of you were expedites?

Just checked my case status - an RFE was issued on October 10. Too bad, as that would otherwise have likely been a fast approval, but at least the case in play. Now let's just hope what they're asking for can be addressed quickly....

We weren't, we just filed it as normal and aren't planning to leave Singapore (I'm living/working here) until May 2015. Even mentioning that on the petition.

Also we had the Alien Registration Number assigned on Sept 18th, 2 days after NOA1. I thought that was just a normal step after it's accepted, didn't realize it had any significance.

Things seem to be speeding up if anything. You got your RFE the 10th, which means it hit someone desk and they went through it. Had you not got that it would have been approved then.

But you still won't be waiting long at all, your petition is still on someone's desk and once you get what you need and send it in, it will be added and approved.you were estimated around if not early then mine was, so if RFE is fine you will still get approved before your estimate.
