Good morning,

Yesterday my EAD/AP combo card arrived, and this morning I received the email/text for my scheduled interview on March 11. I'm pleasantly surprised, didn't think I would have my interview for another few months.

Congrats!

I had my interview this morning and despite a lukewarm respoponse from our immigration officer, we were approved 2 hrs later. Yippee

Congrats to you!

Interview went well yesterday - we were not approved on the spot but were approved today and our status changed to card/document production. We had to wait for three hours (yikes) but we were in the interview room for less than 10 minutes. Also they asked us almost NO questions! I was so surprised. Most of the interview was my husband answering those yes/no questions. The couple in front of us in "line" (they assigned numbers) got a Stokes interview which went on forever, they were called way before us.

I am so relieved it is over... we will see you guys in 2 years!

You should be great. You have plenty of evidence. Try not to make your nerves get the best of you. All the best.

Hey guys!

We got approved on the spot!!!!!!

Our interviewer loved us! He even gave us his personal number on our way out. It was intense. Not the questioning just the atmosphere. We were one of the first couples and it took an hour. We waited for like 30-45 minutes for them to call our number but once we got in there he just asked us one question and that's how did this relationship come about. He made us know that our filing date was a red flag (because it was so close to when we got married) but he believed our love was real and we had every evidence even more than he wanted. He said we made his job easy and that we were approved on the spot. He wished us all the best and for us to have a long happy marriage.

So good luck to everyone else! I am so relieved and ecstatic??? and I'll see you guys in two years!

Hey guys, we have our interview on Friday and the only thing I don't have with me in the USA is my original birth certificate.

Do you think that will be a huge problem? :S I have a million other original documents like my id card and 2 passports from my country of birth that state that have my place of birth printed on them :S

I also have a copy of my birth certificate that I am taking with me. The thing is i didn't bring my birth certificate with me because I didn't expected to stay here at the time :/

When my husband and I went in they didn't even ask for that. They asked for my court depositions and for our photo ID and my passport and asked a couple of questions.

The copy is in your application so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Don't mention anything unless they ask about it specifically.
