@ coTL: no tax documents for 2013? If you're lucky then they'll ask for it at your interview so take it along.

@ mmanginsay: RFEs can come at any point of the process. Some people got RFEs for their taxes or other documents at their interview! With uscis anything can happen, so prepare well. I was upset that I got an RFE, but it is what it is; I pray for good news this week.

I agree...I am a bit bummed about it. I am pretty sure I gave above and beyond the requirements. The only thing I didn't do was my medical and I'm not sure if that's what the RFE is for. But will know next week.

My birthday is Saturday so I was hoping for my EAD by then as a gift. So much for that :(

I just pray everyone gets past the RFE's and moves forward.

I'm sorry, I meant to say I had everything listed plus the W2's for 2011 and 2012 as extra. We sent tax transcripts and W2's for 2011, 2012, 2013

That's very good news! Congrats

Today it's been 34 days from my biometrics and nothing... no asking fir rfe, no card production, no testing...

My 485 still acceptance and the others initial review... what can be wrong? Shouldn't I've got something by now? I know it's a waiting game but 34 days after the bio without any news is heartbreaking. ..

Well my partner and I had been looking into a possibility of filing a mandamus case. The stress of the wait is not helping at all.

We will wait till this week if we will not recieve a reply we will file the mandamus.

Thank you everyone. Fingers crossed your cases move quickly. From looking at other months, it seems like some locations are backed up a lot.

Congrats!!!! You could have a sweet GC for Christmas :)

Christmas Day would be day 90 for me, and I was really hoping! Would make a great gift!

I need to figure out proof for the interview. I'm not on the mortgage, don't have car insurance together, but we have children born in '08, '11 and '14 so I think that is the best proof. Our oldest is 6 1/2 years old and I'll only get a conditional GC, lol. Hate that it took so long to get here.

I think we are all just on edge and need to relax a little. We said September was a good month and it still is, just have a few bumps in the road. We will all get what we need in time. I think we just need things to occupy our time so we can stop focusing on this process so much.

We have to remember there are THOUSANDS of people doing the same thing we are and there are a couple IO's processing the cases so we just have to be patient guys.

Best of luck and remember prayer works BEST! :)

I dont think you need to prove anything more than your three kids and your wedding photos...youre good! :) Pray that you get approved on the spot!

Me and my partner have a lot more proving to do but I think when our time comes we will be fine, because we literally did everything together before we got married so we have alot of documentation.

But Congrats on the update!!! :)
