Has anyone had their IV fee unlocked recently? If yes, what day did you fill out your DS-261? Just trying to get an estimate on what date they are working on for the IV fee's.

Our DS-261 was filled out on July 26th.

I called the NVC recently and asked when our IV fee would be ready, we're hoping to get the $230 fee before Sept 12th when it increases to 325$

The lady I spoke with told me it was way too soon (We completed it on August 25th) and that they have so many they are receiving right now it will be very close to 60 days. She said the moment they review it and accept it, they will invoice us for the IV fee.

6/24/2014 - I-130 Shipped via UPS to Chicago

6/26/2014 - I-130 Received and signed for at USCIS

7/1/2014 - E-mail of acceptance with Receipt number - NoA 1 (Routed to California Service Center)

07/15/2014 - Change of Address via phone call with USCIS, confirmation via e-mail.

7/30/2014 - I-130 Approved at USCIS - NoA 2 E-mail

08/13/2014 - NVC Received Approved I-130 package from USCIS

08/21/2014 - Case Number and IIN created at NVC

08/25/2014 - Case Number and IIN received via phone call. DS-261 Available and completed online.

8/26/2014 - AoS Fee invoiced and paid online.

8/28/2014 - AoS Invoice status PAID

09/04/2014 - Expedite Request response - Must enter Beneficiary Date of Birth - Re-sent exact e-mail with requested info

09/10/2014 - Expedite Request e-mail received as "Under Review"

09/11/2014 - Expedite Request Approved - Confirmation via e-mail from U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, Romania

09/16/2014 - Embassy Received Case from NVC

09/16/2014 - Received E-mail from Embassy to Schedule our Interview and prepare documents

9/23/2014 - Medical Exam at Regina Maria - Results OK

10/01/2014 - Visa Approved!

10/03/2014 - Received Passport with Visa!

11/2/2104 - PoE Atlanta - Welcome to the US!

11/5/2014 - Paid $165 ELIS Fee

8/1/2016 - I-751 Packet sent in for Removal of Conditions!

8/15/2016 - Notice of Action 1 for I-751 - California Service Center

9/29/2016 - Received Biometrics Appointment

Yikes 60 days now for IV fee's to be unlocked :ranting: Is this nightmare ever going to end? I need to stay positive but it's hard!

JULY 9TH I FILLED DS-261 AND STILL WAITING FOR IV FEE BE INVOICE, I CALL NVC YERSTERDAY ,SAID ARE FULL OF WORK.

Jose&ive u need to call every day until u get through. My scan date for AOS ds261 was July 10 and I kept calling until I got through. I paid my iv fee last Saturday and sent the IV package last Thursday.

RFE - May 06, 2014

RFE Hard Copy Received - May 12, 2014 (2 passport size photo for the petitioner)

RFE Sent - May 15, 2014

Fill out DS - 261 Form & submit - 08/07/2014

Pay AOS Fee - 25/07/2014

Send AOS Package - 02/08/2014

Send IV Package - 28/08/2014

Pay IV Bill - 30/08/2014

Case Complete - October 21, 2014

yes, i will have to. supposedly the operator answered yesterday said a supervisor would review my case, hummmm how difficult this process.

Submitted DS261 on July 30th. I don't know who's telling the truth now...the guy that I talked to agreed it's 30 business days.

I'm expecting to get IV invoice by Sept. 10... maybe they're delaying it so we would have to pay $325...argh..

It is 60 days just like every other part. If it's over 60 days speak to a supervisor (call before 6pm est) and ask if they can please review it.

Ds-261 is, imho, the stupidest, most useless form for anything immigration related.
