Thank you for your positive input!!

From what I understand, the embassy needs to receive my paperworks before I can request to reschedule. Is that correct? I wonder how long it takes NVC to send out paperworks to the embassies...

Yay! More September people making it to the finish line!!!

When your Visa Status changes to 'Ready', that's when you can request a re-schedule. Have you completed your medical, yet? That can help, too :-)

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

That's why I said next week. Usually they mail out packages Mondays and Fridays. I would say Friday evening call NVC and ask them has your petition been mailed. Once you know that you can track. Then next week more than likely you can email the embassy.

We got our interview date - October 21! :dancing::thumbs: I didn't feel like calling NVC again, and being on hold forever as usual on Tuesday, so we were going to call on Wednesday...but then we received an email on the afternoon of September 2nd with the interview notice.

We're glad that we got it, but it is too far out for us, so we will request to move the interview up. I've read that we need to wait until the embassy receives the case in order to request for an earlier interview date. Does anyone know how we can track when the embassy receives our file, so we can know when to follow up with the embassy here in Kuala Lumpur?

Which is the embassy you will be interviewing at? You have Iranian flag up but Malaysia on your timeline.

You have to know when NVC mails out. I have told folk here to wait until friday eveing and call NVC and ask has your petition been mailed out. If so about Monday you can start tracking. It won;t be until end of next week you will see results and the case file at embassy.

Thank you for such a useful information. I was not aware that NVC sends out packages on certain days, so now I have something I can refer to!!

I will definitely keep my eyes on this Friday and next Monday then.

I'm hoping to get September interview, so hopefully Tokyo will have a slot open for me...

I got my interview from the NVC on Friday but I have not received my email either.

I have a question. For the vaccines it says that you need a Flu Vaccine between Oct and Feb annually. My medical is scheduled for September but my interview is in October. I have all the rest of the vaccines on the list. Does that mean I have to get a Flu Vaccine as well because my interview is in October?
