You're having a nice day with your family, when suddenly your mother is hit in the head with a large rock. She falls to the ground bleeding. You turn and you see a young man laughing and running away. You take after him and find him hiding behind a group of young women and children also laughing at you. Keep in mind that you live in a rock-throwing sensitive area where law enforcement and politics do not respond to political rock throwers. You then:

I would call the police still to get at least a police report so I have the person's details for a lawsuit.

Yeah, that would be a choice for some. However, that option was ruled out in my narative for this topic. This means the response to the situation is totally yours. Law enforcement, police reports, and lawsuits are not an option.

Oh, it appears you suggested that some topics not be discussed for a period of time, in this case September 6. I think that is a noble cause. I usually don't follow crowd compliance unless it serves my country and personal selfish interests.

You bet. It's today's world, and today's audience. Springer, CNN, MSNBC, what have you. So, given the parameters, is the audience just a group of spectators and sideline contributors with an absence of gonads? Or, is there someone willing to say what they would do when confronted with this situation? Just exactly what would you do when there is no one to protect you but YOU?

What if prior to your mother being hit in the head with the rock, your family stole all of the rock throwers land, bulldozed his house, and put all his family members in jail without being charged with a crime?
