WOOHOO!

We received our approval email today. What a short timeline! And no interview. Did they take pity on us for being an IMBRA recall case? Or did we have the "perfect" application (which I think we did ;-) ?

AOS, AP, EAD apps:

delivered 12/4

received 12/7

received noa's 12/11

touched 12/14

Biometrics NOA dated 12/8, rec'd 12/16, appt 12/22

I-485 transferred to CSC 12/27, touches: 1/4, 1/5 (arrived CSC), 1/8, 1/9, 1/17, 1/18;

1/23 - approved/welcome notice email

I-131 touch 12/19

I-765 touch 12/27, 1/3

WE HOPE THIS IS GOOD NEWS FOR CSC TRANSFERS!

Can we get a refund (fries) with that? haha! Wasted $350 on the EAD and AP. Approved but we still can't go on our honeymoon to the Yucatan 'til we receive that friggin' card!

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Congratulations, that was record-breaking time! :thumbs: It took Claudeth five months from filing to get her GC. Many of the AOS petitions going through CSC are approved without an interview.

Usually the green card arrives in two weeks or less. But, I would use the date of the mailed notice as the starting date and not the email notice date. Sometimes is takes a while to get off someone's desk.

too freakin cool, Amwo. I hope ours goes as smoothly. Sent I-485 Jan 3, NOA dated Jan 9, received biometrics NOA Jan 22, biometrics appt. Jan 30. Please, let the immigration gods smile on another IMBRA recall, who also has the french connection.

Congratulations on your friggin' card.

Maybe you should be thankful you have your friggin' card.

It grants you a few more priveleges than just being able to take a honeymoon. In case you didn't friggin' know that.
