i was denied a tourist visa too ...

if she will be well prepared and confident that your case is strong nothing bad will happen, trust me.

My wife was denied a tourist visa as well. Don't worry, Warsaw will be no problem. She will get her visa.

I understand that a visitor visa denial is not grounds for an IV denial. But you guys have to remember that the feeling of that day is seared into my brain forever and I just feel something bad will happen because that day made me very cynical about the whole process in general. Thanks for the replies though.

i know what you mean, the stress before the interview and the denial ... very traumatic experiences.

i was affraid to go there again but i knew that i had to, that i didn't want to disappoint my husband, that we worked hard for it.

interview this morning, APPROVED, only 5 questions:

Who is calling u to the USA ? my spouse

what year u get married? 2009

do have kids ? yes, 1

and your husband does he have kids? yes our only one baby.

how many months u pass in the states when u gave birth to your child ? 5

your visa is approved Mam, go pay the fee.

they say I will have passport back in 2 weeks. they also take my old passport with tourist visa valid till next year.

Hi all, my wife's interview is in exactly one week and I'm freaking out and am so nervous. She's going without me and I'm so worried she'll get denied or that something bad will happen. Back when we were dating she applied for and was denied a tourist visa and I'll never forget the feeling of her emailing me with the news of her denial while sobbing at her computer, not to mention the entire 2 hour bus ride back home. It's an emotion and a day that will be in my memory forever and I'm scared it's going to be repeated next week.

Any words of encouragement or pep talk anyone can offer possibly? I'm a nervous wreck.

You're justified to feel nervous, but she'll do great! Our Sept group has been blessed with a lot of good news lately, so I'm sure she'll be fine and you can finally relax! Wishing her good luck and I'll say an extra prayer for her too.

Oh you should be fine. When we were in London two days ago it was fine . She was freezing the other night it was about 49*F for the low! Autumn is coming early this year

Hubby told me about this the other day. He was here when it happened before so he couldn't go home right away (didn't complain), but now that I'm leaving tomorrow and we come back next week, I'm a liiiittle nervous. Stupid volcano!!

Just check the weather report before you leave. But, you know.. English weather changes it's mind everyday.. Just bring a coat to be on the safe side.

Texas weather is always unpredictable! Saying here is "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes." Yeah, if my hubby is wearing a light jacket because HE thinks it's chilly, then I'm definitely gonna freeze my tush off. lol

And NO JOKE. If I get stuck out there, I won't get paid because I've used up all my PTO.

Is he south England or North England? . We've notice a change in temperatures dropping when we got back to the west midlands from London on Tuesday. Much chillier. Hopefully it doesn't! I'm guessing people are getting bored of nothing happening in the world with weather or volcano eruptions..

oh i have not yet rec'd anything. but i just thought it might be too late when i find out that they do need my birth certificate. it takes 3 weeks to get it to china...

so it is probably safe to mail my stuff back i guess so my husband has it just in case.

He lives in East London. Yeah, I've got my eye on it, but I'm not too concerned. The most concern I have right now is choosing a good window seat for my flight tomorrow once check-in opens! lol

I have Case Compleated on 18th Aug-2014. Can you please explain how much time will take for schedule an interview with India_mumbai embassy and what are the further steps need to be taken and how we can shcdule biometric interview. Can we get instruction from NVC regarding biometrics?

my last package to china was $80 also with fedex. I will look into DHL (5 days great) thank you. NVC phone operator told me the interview notice will come in an email. One email for case complete with iterview date and list of things to bring to interview. Is that what you expect also?
