"The document you submitted is not an original or certified copy of an original issued by the appropriate government authority. The document must be an original, or a certified copy of the original, bearing the original seal or stamp from the issuing authority." This is bull we sent both with the stamps and everything .... It's from the ministry it doesn't get more official than this !

Just got the AOS checklist for not filling out the residents address with n/a. Well could have been worse, will have to refill the form and send it in tomorrow.

Am so sorry for your checklist. I hope we all get thru this NVC as soon as possible. This NVC is really a nightmare.

This is getting ridiculous!!! I called my hubby today and all week long he sounds like someone just beat the mess out of him! He just sound sad!!! Can you imagine just getting married with your husband and 5 days later, you have to walk away from him and its been 4 months since then!!! THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF US AND ITS JUST PLAIN HARD! SOMETIMES - I THINK IF NVC DONT' HURRY - THEY WILL DESTROY MY MARRIAGE BEFORE WE EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO START IT!!!

Hang in there!! My wife and I also parted ways 5 days after our wedding. That was October 2013. We'll spend our first anniversary on a very romantic Skype date spending most of the conversation saying "what, what was that, say that again", haha.

Don't let a few months ruin your marriage. You're way ahead of a lot of people going through this process. Good luck!!

I am the USC Petitioner. My wonderful wife Laura is from Scotland.

I can understand how it feels. This immigration journey is not easy at all, having our spouses separated from us. Next week is our wedding anniversary and we are going to celebrate it on Skype and phone call. So please just hang in there. I pray the Almighty God gives us the strength and courage to pull thru this journey and make us stronger.

Aww hang in there, my hubby has seriously gone into this anti social phase where he doesn't want to talk to anyone anymore. He stays inside his room and everytime we talk he has that same question. Where's the process up to now? It's our anniversary in 2 days. I tell him exactly what I'm telling you, in the end it will be all worth it. You'll see :) :)

Cesar, it should be 60 calendar days before they have a response for you, but it may be even sooner. Most people on this forum seem to think that the NVC is telling everyone to wait for 60 days in order to cover themselves, but it will hopefully be sooner than that.
