Found out my wife used me to get here, and I got an actual annulment, NOT a divorce. I sent all of the court papers to USCIS, also. Also sent a letter said I don't wanna sponsor her no more. It's been a few years, and I hear

she found herself a boyfriend back East, and has a couple kids with him, even. Will she be able to stay here based on some kinda 'hardship', coz she has those(American-born) kids? I mean, I've seen Mexican family separated here, but they border with us down south. Maybe it's different sending a parent overseas?

What visa did she come here?

Did she have a greencard when you fond out? If she did, chances are USCIS did nothing and she is a US citizen by now.

oh, sorry 'bout that. It was a K1 fiance type visa. She'd got the fingerprints done and sent in, then I found out she'd been cheatin on me. She'd run-off with some other guy by the time for her AOS interview came round. But I went there to let them know I'd found out the truth, and tell them I wasn't gonna sponsor her no more. They said just be sure to send them copies of the court papers when it was final, which I did. So, she didn't have any shot at a greencard, no.

Then no, she cannot stay here based on the kids (they cannot file for her until they are 21), and she cannot get a greencard based on marriage to another man.

Why do you care about her immigration status? It is her life, she can stay legally or illegally with any consequences on her own, man up mister.

How about listening to another story from the lady, which we have never had a chance to know?

You mean the story you've made up in your head which casts the OP in the worst possible light so you can bash him?

Having a heart is being a realist and advising someone to let go of negative thoughts and get on with life rather than being eaten up inside over issues they no longer have any control over.

There is being a realist, and there is being insulting. She chose the later.

Why are you so mad mister? Are you same boat with OP? Do you know his real life? Or you just sympathized for his story? OP posts are filled with hatred after 5YRS about his ex spouse. He cancelled his AOS before her AOS was even interviewed. And now he is so mad because she is still here with a settled family and kids. She could have a great lawyer, or left legally then started from scratches with current spouse. Or she is illegally staying with no status at all, who knows? But it grinds OP gears when she is now happy with another family. He thinks she can't be here without his K1 visa? He even brought Mexican families here to highlight his post. That's why he needs to man up.

Ditto, it grinds my gears too when men talk about their ex with hatred, anger, revenge because they can't do anything to control ex-wives anymore so they decide to stalk on ex and blame all on them.
