That's disappointing. It's been almost a year and no interview yet. Man people have to wait so long for F2B and then embassy can't even bother to schedule an interview in like 8 months. Interview should usually be scheduled even before the priority dates become current so that when it does, one is issued a visa straightway.

 

It seems embassy has gone real slow. Previously for F4 in 2016, interviews were scheduled even before priority dates become current. But I did remember last year, it retrograde and for F2A, interview were scheduled 2 months late.

My PD is like in 2017 so long way to go. I am from Bangladesh.

My priority date March 2016 at csc but not approved

It says the current approval time is around 4 years on average at CSC. It has ballooned significantly under this government. There was a Congress inquiry regarding that. It seems the current policies have led to it.

 

Hopefully after 2020, things may get better. Let us know when you get approved mate.

I got the interview letter today in spite of how crazy busy the Mumbai embassy is ...  hopefully you will get yours soon too. Good luck.

case approved 18 october 2013, vermont service center .

welcome letter 18 October 2018,

cc date 29 October 2018,

now waiting for interview letter..

i called nvc and email to dhaka embassy several time, but no positive reply. every time same  reply , that the can not predict when the interview will schedule....

dont know where is the main problem,

I think his PD was Aug12 and CC as yours Oct18

Dear what is your PD, CC date, because my PD is 21 June 2012 & CC on 3rd March 2019, still i am waiting for my IL.

Priority dt aug 2012, cc was end of nov 2018. On a side note, if you click on a user, you can see what they posted before. I have posted my priority dt before ..  fyi. good luck. im sure they r just working thru the backlog and will get to ur case soon.

My PD is OCT/2013, Got case completed in March 2019. Still have few months before Chart A becomes current.
