It's only been 7 days. It can take up to 4 weeks to get an NOA1. Especially with a transfer case.

You'll get it.

Well, then it hasn't even been a week yet! You need to sit back, take a deep breathe, and realize this process is going to be full of a lot of waiting, all of which is going to be longer and more stressful than the wait for the NOA1.

:star: Cass (bebop the great)

No, I know my petition was received on the 12th I sent it UPS. :crying::crying::crying:

No, I know my petition was received on the 12th I sent it UPS.

It was received at NSC on the 12th... Takes a couple of days to get to CSC. So lets say the 15th. Then another 7/8 days for NOA1 in the mail... I would guess the 22nd or so...

YMMV

Bebop was right! If waiting a few days for the NOA1 is making you stressed then you have got to relax or you won't be able to take this process.

I'm sorry you're angry but waiting for the NOA2 is probably the worst. Then you have the NVC and the consulate (who you wait for 3 times - after the NVC, for packet 3, and then the interview.

Relax....find something to occupy your time, and good luck!

hahahahaha Take up a hobby the NOA1 is one of the fastest things to happen.... Relax...breath...Because you have another app. 70-80 days till NOA2 approval... and almost the same amount of time after that before your setting in the Interview..

I know this sucks...but people are getting through it daily.. and you just learn to communicate better :) I wish you a speedy process..

It is not that I am anry and I know the entire process is time consuming. However, it does not seem as though I have actually started my journey, and it won't untill I have a notice saying the process has started.

NO you should not worry!! Like the others said, you have to find something to occupy your time, or you'll die from the stress before you even get to the interview!!! Don't check every day (I did until some nice VJ person slapped my hand)...just keep busy and one day you'll find your NOA1, then 2....step by step dear VJ friend. :D

I had the same feeling when I sent in my package, and 4 days later, I received NOA1 in the mail, not knowing that I actually received NOA1 in only 2 days after they received it... Patience is a virtue that we all need. It's been 2 weeks since I've been with my loved one, and I miss her, but I must be patient.
