I tried looking for my NOA and can't seem to find it. I got my paperwork sent back because I forgot to sign, sent it back and the next thing I got was my biometrics appointment.

It's form I-797C, Notice of Action, ASC Appointment notice, dated 7/15.

Check cashed 7/29/2014, however still no NOA.

They keep sending mail to my old address even after speaking with them TWICE and confirming TWICE that we have moved. I sent a cover letter explaining the change of address, if it goes to the old one I will lose all faith! :P

Gb6435, like others said, I would call and ask for the NOA to be resent.

I will travel abroad while ROC is pending and conditional greencard expired.

From what I read here, American immigration officers can easily see that it's been extended for a year in their computer. But when DEPARTING abroad, airline people at the foreign hub will need to see that extension letter to let you board that plane to USA. Obviously they won't have a software sync to the Department of Homeland Security to verify you're "fit to fly" if you know what I mean.

I went in and did my bio early today since i won't be in town for my actual appointment. People are really friendly there and didn't even check the appointment date. The only thing i would say is that on the appointment letter it says to bring any kind of picture ID. However they asked for my green card specifically, and also to most of other people. So everybody please bring your green card with you just in case.
