Hello guys,

It's almost the time for me to renew my auto insurance and it's expensive.

I don't even like to drive, so I hate this expense.

I know the insurance prices vary with many factors, but how much do you pay for a month? I'm just curious.

Please post the car you drive, insurance price, driving background, and the discount method if any.

Mine is:

2010 Honda Accord

$109.74/month

1 speeding ticket and 1 accident (I'm not at fault) in the past 5 years.

I think we're getting a family discount.

2012 Chrysler 200

$101/month, full coverage with all the bells and whistles

1 Driver, 1 accident (not at fault and did not affect premium)

$500 deductible

I'm all alone for now, so no more multi policy discount :(

However, I took this online driver safety course and it gives me 10% off for 36 months. I took this course.

We play every 6 months

2009 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited

Allstate

$551 = $90 month

Both of us are on the insurance and it has all the bells and whistles for coverage including comprehensive for windows etc..

We also have a 2013 Suzuki DRZ400SM and it is about $70/year.

$13 a month.

We have 90's models Subarus and Toyotas. We swap out which one we are driving to town and insuring depending on the time of year. I think we got about a dozen vehicles on the property not including the one buried as part of a septic system.

I got clocked doing 104 in a 55 not long ago in a rice rocket we had at the time. Doesn't seem to have affected our insurance. All we have is liability. t

102/month for our 2008 Honda Civic

Full coverage, no tickets. under State Farm.

Same dilemma as others when it comes to premiums getting on my nerves. I wonder if I'll save if I switch to comprehensive coverage or worst, get a liability only.

I wonder why your premiums are so high? I mean we pay a little bit more for 2 cars. The one for us that is expensive is the truck even though we have a brand new car because the truck can do a lot of damage.

Have you gotten a quote for full coverage from Geico? I heard their customer service in case of an accident sucks, but it is better than nothing.

What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I'd come on here to see what people were discussing and find out that I pay way too much in car insurance!!! Long Island New York. 2014 Chevy Cruz LTZ. I'm paying like 186 per month with progressive. Had a "not at fault" accident 2 years ago and hit a pot hole pretty bad so I reported it. However, my insurance hasn't gone up because of these. Well, the pot hole incident won't show until later on because it just recently happened. However, my insurance keeps creeping up. I can't believe people are paying under $100 for car insurance!

I pay well below $100 for full coverage ($1K deductible on C&C) for two vehicles - Santa Fe and Sonata. Comes to less than 80 bucks a month total. Would be much, much less if it wasn't for this damn uninsured motorist and PIP bullshite that you got to carry around here. Those two items make up slightly more than 50% of my total premium. I so wish they'd just get rid of this stupid "No Fault" insurance bullshite (knock out PIP) here in FL and nail the bumming arses of the uninsured drivers to the wall.

Wait so premium is higher if you're living in a big city??? My insurance is $109/month only because I have 3 other cars on the same insurance(family discount). Most of my single friends with a good driving record pay $180ish/month for their new-ish cars they said. I have Mercury and living in LA.
