During the N-400 process can you travel outside the US? I'm planning on visiting my family back in Brasil for 1 or 2 weeks. That wouldn't hinder my application in any way?

It will only hinder your application if you miss a bio appointment or if you are close to the maximum number of days you can be outside the US. You will need to include these days outside the US at the interview. Have a good trip and enjoy.
