June Filers,

Here is the latest updates from my script/program. Sorry I haven't made any updates in a week but we just got back from a cruise!

Latest Approved File: src1490307849

Status: 12/12/2014 Approved

NOA1 Batch: 6/16/2014

Wait time: 179 Days

Files approved from 10-1 to 10-19: 16

Mean approval time: 123 Days

Files approved from 10-20 to 10-31: 40

Mean approval time: 134 Days

Files approved on 11-1 to 11-4: 8

Mean approval time: 138 Days

Files approved on 11-12 to 11-14: 16

Mean approval time: 154 Days

Files approved on 11-15 to 11-19: 8

Mean approval time: 160 Days

Files approved on 11-20 to 11-26: 11

Mean approval time: 163 Days

Files approved on 11-27 to 12-2: 27

Mean approval time: 170 Days

Files approved on 12-3 to 12-5: 37

Mean approval time: 171 Days

Files approved on 12-6 to 12-15: 48

Mean approval time: 173 Days

Looks like the USCIS continues to make progress, last week they completed 55 RFEs; However, They only completed 48 approvals which is low if you look at previous intervals. The trend of wait time continues to increase but at a slower pace which is good!

I had people asking me about NOA1 of 6/24/2014 which is what mine is. My Case is about 64 applications away from the "waterline". I did a quick regression test and it looks like I should get something within the next 6 days - 10 days.

Keep the faith/hope

Your brother in Christ,

Josh

Josh, thanks for the update! It always feels like a breath of fresh air when we get some news from you! Holding fingers crossed for you and your lovely lady! We are NOA2 on 6/25 so hoping that we are not too far behind with good news too :) Doesn't hurt to think happy thoughts, eh?

I'm picking up my fiancé at the airport Saturday :) It's the second time he comes to Sweden for Christmas. We are going to try to alternate between celebrating with my parents and his parents. As it looks now we will be 16 people celebrating Christmas including my parents, brothers and their families including on of my sister-in-laws mother and sister and her family...

My fiancé will be here until January 4 so we'll have plenty of time together :)

What are your plans for Christmas? And great idea by the way to get our mind off of this very long wait!

Unfortunately me and my darling won't be spending the holidays together, due to unforseen circumstances we couldn't manage to be in the same place at the same time but since my schedule has calmed down we have been able to skype more, and we message on WhatsApp nearly every day. I know it doesn't even compare to being with him and his lovely family but we are determined to be strong through this :)

I'm trying to find something to keep me super busy during the holidays. Maybe art classes or something. The wait is making me restless and I'm feeling down lately. I was planning to go visit my fiance in Karachi but they denied my tourist visa :/ Hoping this process goes quickly and he will be here soon! Best of luck to you too!!

HafsaJawwad, have you guys considered meeting up somewhere in between, or Europe? I realize that he would have to apply for visa on his end, but might be worth a try? Maybe for Valentine's day a meeting in Paris? (sorry the hopeless romantic in me couldn't resist that example)

Sending you all best wishes and big cyber hugs, I hope this holiday season brings us many miracles and positive news! Thanks for partaking in the conversation on non-immigration related stuff!

Josh, thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for posting your stats! What would we do without you?

I haven't been around for a few days because apparently I needed something to pass the days so I wouldn't freak out...I have a mold infestation in my house, which I discovered when I took on a project to tear out the wall-to-wall carpets and put Down hardwood floors(!!!!!!)

I had to evacuate the house Saturday because I'm asthmatic and mold is even more deadly to me than it is to healthy people, and I've been in a (couple of) hotel(s) since. Thankfully, my condo association has been responsive about sending people to work on it (it was due to a leak in the roof); they were not as responsive about finding me and the cats a place to live, until last night. So I've been coordinating the workers completely moving me out so they can tear out the walls, remediate the mold, rebuild the walls, replace the floors, then move me back in. And go to the hospital for chest x-Rays, EKG, and lots of meds because I've been living there with mold all in the walls for at least two months as far as we can tell. I've been soooo sick and we couldn't figure out why, and Naqeeb has been soooo worried about me, and he's 8,000 miles away and can't do anything about any of this.

What a nightmare.

Now that I'm in a hotel for a week and resting so I can get better, I'm so thankful to see that people are really starting to move through to NOA2 here. We're 313, so we've got a bit farther to go, but it looks like our group is about 50% done now. Yay!!!

Hang in there everyone. And Congrats to everyone who's moving on!

People keep asking me what i am doing. I'd like not to give specific details as I have no idea who you are! for all i know you could be a foreign spy sent by some covert US government agency! (clearly not as agile as the USCIS)

Techniques - Data mining:

- Manipulating DOM objects to mine web based data including but not limited to the use of scripting language

ie. Python, VBA, R, Etc

- Oracle databases (SQL)

Techniques - Analytics:

- SAS for regression models

- Angoss (Entropy Variance)

- Excel

- Lasly but just as important!: Pure gut feeling :D

Here is a quick analysis i did this morning. This shows the trends that I've been posting but now in a graph.

This quick polynomial trend line shows some hope in the future as we will look for average wait time to peak around 183 days.

This is very encouraging. I'm assuming that the holidays will be slowing things down a bit. Thank you for your level of expertise and analysis.

Happy Holidays!
