Gofundme from family and friends?

This chick on my FB that I'm somehow related to put up a gofundme to literally just fund her life.

She was going to school and needed money to pay for rent, loans, food, etc.

Weekly she would repost it.

I thought it was the most ridiculous thing ever.

Out of the FIVE THOUSAND she was trying to earn, she got about 300.

Well, that is kind of sad and pathetic, but I think if she said like I need $700 for books this semester, then maybe it would have gotten a better response.

For me, I think, well lady, it is your choice to be in school and not live at home, so figure it out yourself, just like the rest of us do.

I don't like this kind of gofundme. There are some things called 'Student Loan' and part-time jobs.

Saw a gofundme thread(probably deleted) on VJ this week to fund a $3200 airfare for a K2-beneficiary. :rolleyes:

It's the last name of my abusive step-father. I'll glady shed it and rub it in his face. :o

Can you get married again in Minnesota, then you will have a new Marriage certificate with the name change? :huh2:

Just applied for a medicare specialist job within the company. I want it so badly.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Been thinking of one to take a trip back to my wife's country.

Momma is sick, she needs our help, but we sent all our money for medicine and medical bills. Please help fund us to make sure she's getting proper care!

Do you think it will fly?

I really don't know if you can get married twice in Minnesota and get your name changed. Would be a lot cheaper though.
