August interviews should start scheduling late next week. I honestly don't know how much help the Embassy can be especially since they don't have your completed case yet and you haven't applied for an expedite.... we're almost there. August is sooner than it seems!

We just want it to try... Our priority date i February 25, 2013, so everything looks far for us :))) But it is what it is. August will come soon you're right. I'll inform you what the Embassy will answer me.

I thought you needed an interview date before they send out the documents from NVC. Good to know you don't. Did you receive a case complete e-mail?

Usually you have the interview date before they send your package to the consulate, but my case is a bit different because I requested an expedited interview. In this case, NVC sends the package to the embassy and they are the ones who schedule my interview :)

I-751 August 2016 filer. 10-year Green card received on Aug 2017.

N-400 (Naturalization) July 2017 filer. Oath Ceremony: November 2nd 2017.

Sent application to Lewisville, TX on 07/03/2017. Case received and check cashed on 07/11/2017. Biometrics: 08/03/2017. In Line for Interview: 09/05/2017. Interview scheduled: 09/18/17 (notice received 09/21/17). Interview date: 10/23/2017. Oath date: 11/02/2017. Passport received: 11/20/2017.

Vermont Service Center received package on Aug 18th 2016.

Yuhuuu congrats! How to request expedite interview? and on which e-mail?

You send an email to NVCexpedite@state.gov, writing your case on the subject line, and including in the e-mail the petitioner's and beneficiary's names and dates of birth, along with a statement explaining why you need the expedite. It took one week for NVC to forward the request to the embassy, and the embassy took an additional week to approve my case. I requested this 3 or 4 weeks ago.

But even if you request it now I think you'll probably have an interview date before they get to approve the expedite :)

As always, Agent Gus is a breath of fresh air even when the news isn't fabulous lol

He said I'm still in queue for interview appointment. I mentioned my conversation with Agent Jean regarding London still scheduling. He said London is still scheduling, butmy case complete was so late in the month it's highly doubtful I'll get scheduled for July. He then suggested that I keep calling to inquire about my interview appointment as the e-mails are a bit slow to receive (finally someone who gets it!).

Sooo like I thought, August. Not too bummed. Points to dwheels for calling it (not that I doubted you for a moment)!

Agent Gus is the best ever. Love that man. I want to call just to say hello.
