Thanks so much!!! Wow! 6 weeks for the green card!!! Did the ss card come at the same time? I've been checking into things for hubby. It seems as though you can't do much without it. Ie: bank acct, drivers license, ect. You can't do anything here without ID and you can't get an ID without the GC. Thanks again for thinking of us! He'll be here in less than 2 weeks!!! So happy!!!!!! :)

No. He thinks he may get it tomorrow. The embassy told him Tuesday or Wednesday. We are still a bit afraid to buy the ticket until he actually has the visa. We talked about it again today and I was so tempted to just tell him to buy it!!! It keeps getting more expensive everyday. If he gets it tomorrow I'll post it for sure! Good luck!!! (F)

We are doing the same thing, holding off buying a ticket until he has it in his hands. Seriously I hope it happens fast for all of us, the flights are crazy. Fingers crossed you get it tomorrow! :dancing:

I was on hold for 56 mins with the NVC to hear that the NVC is done scheduling interviews for the month of July. I asked is there a possibility that there will be a second round of interviews for the London embassy, the guy Jim stated that yes sometimes that occurs, but there is no guarantee... Anyone in this forum have this experience, especially at the london embassy?

I had that experience back in April. We got case complete just at the end of the first round of scheduling and missed getting a date. NVC couldn't tell me if or when a second round would start, just that it was possible. We got an interview date along with at least one other UK filer on VJ in a second round on the 16th. Keep an eye out in a week or so. Good luck :)

I was also told the same thing, but I'm not sure they know everything. Still hope!
