I have a question

Did the nvc must scan AOS package TO invoice IV BILL

or it can be invoiced without receiving The package

No and yes. AOS and IV have their own separate tracks. The IV fee gets generated after they finish reviewing the DS-261.

Good luck!

Thank you , girls :) Hubby and I will have a Skype date later today. Sigh.. Such a bittersweet day!

Having some wine now drinking-red-wine.gif It is 5 o'clock somewhere.. :P (but 4 pm in Poland, ha! close enough ;) )

edit: Just as I hit the "post" button - I spilled the wine on my favorite white t-shirt. Of course I did.. :P

I hate when that happens!!! I'm surprised I didn't spilled beer on my white shirt during the Ghana/Germany match today LOL

Enjoy you Skype date!

No, it shows complete because you have completed it.

As Fabian&Rossy said, you will know that the DS-261 has been reviewed when you receive notification that the IV Fee is available for payment.

That's the million dollar question at the moment. A good number of VJ members in this forum are waiting for that so they can pay the IV fee. NVC seems to be taking longer now than in previous months.

Hi Gwinne!

It's great to connect with you, and your fast approval gives me hope!

Congradulations!

Did you need to go to an interview at the embassy?

I was able to get through to USCIS on Friday, and it turns out that the money order that I sent through the Post Office was emitted incorrectly :(

I had a dubious feeling when they made out the order.... so I am not completely surprised, but I will have to send the whole package in again

(Luckily I got my money back)

I wanted to ask you how you made the payment???

Where will you be living in the US?

I am from AZ and my husband is from Puerto Natales. You cannot leave Chile without visiting Patagonia!

Lets keep in touch, as we are almost on the same timeline

Took about two to three weeks for me but they asked for more information that took only a couple of days to receive. :D Hope this helps.

It definitely helps to hear from two people who had about the same response time. Let's see if I can make it three. ;-)

Thanks for the info!

Hi Mrb4!

I am in Santiago, Chile!!!! We just got our NOA2 for the I-130 for my husband. We sent the package via DHL and it was transferred to California. It as approved in 14 days.

Did you include G-1145 form in your submission to get an email upon receipt? I did and the day after it was delivered I got an email from USCIS telling me they were transferring the case to California Service Center.

In the I-130 did you put your address in Chile for both you and your husband or did you put a US address?

Im so happy to have connected with you here as we are also waiting in Chile before moving. I hear Patagonia is BEAUTIFUL! We will plan a trip this summer to visit so let me know if you have any tips :)

I would suggest calling on monday to see if they can give you any information.
