They will be the ones who complain endlessly about how long this process takes.... PUKE PUKE PUKE

Sorry last one was two horrible long months not weeks hahaaa and yes your right they were complaining about having to wait a month for their files to reach NVC. Really pisses me off and wonder how that can be. Really somethings not right about that at all. :ranting: :ranting:

I submitted via email our AOS pdf files on 5/12/14 and today I got an email from NVC saying this:

You recently sent us an email with attached files. One or more of those files was either encrypted or password protected. Please resubmit your attachments without encryption or password protection so we may complete our review.

I just tested all the PDF files on 2 different computers and mobile device and none of the PDF files have any protection. Anyone had same issues before? How did you fix it? Thanks!

Quick question for my aos checklist i know ive seen alot of people get checklisted for rounding the amounts. All i got checklisted for was because i didnt send page 9. So i should leave everything as is and just send the whole i-864 with the last page filled with n/a

I always have to confirm the e-mail and phone number too with the English Agent.

Less than 10 minutes, you say? Time to brush up on mi español!

Yes true i called earlier and only had to hold for 3 mins. The lady even asked me for my date of birth. Which the english agents have never asked me

Question guys... so i received the official check list today and on the last page (checklist) it says I need to resubmit i864ez and that's it. However on page 2 and 3, it talks about sending in marriage certificate, birth certificate and PCC. When i called last night, Gus told me that i need to send in Birth/marriage certificate and i864ez. I just talked to another agent after seeing the checklist and she told me that my IV document hasnt been reviewed yet and that all i need to send right now is the i864ez. Any ideas about the requests in page 2 and 3 vs the last checklist page?

OK! I'll put "N/A" for the balance of checking and savings accounts. :star:

JeffNJazz, I'm not attaching our checking or savings statement in order to simplify our AOS package (so the reviewer doesn't get confused). We just have too many documents due to including additional documents to demonstrate the US domicile.

I'm including our 2014 property assessment notice from BC Assessment. I'm not sure if your province provides this statement. I'm also including a land title certificate showing we own the property, not a bank. I'm also including a letter from CIBC stating that we have paid off the mortgage.

Actually, we just sold our property, so I'm also including the purchase offer letter too (the US domicile / intention to return). I hope this should be enough. Too many documents, maybe?

I can totally understand not wanting the reviewer to get confused, these packages get pretty big pretty fast!!!

The I-864 instructions on page 7 say, "If you wish to include the net value of your home, this, you must include documentation demonstrating that you own it, a recent appraisal by a licensed appraiser, and evidence of the amount of any and all loans secured by a mortgage, trust deed, or other lien on the home."

Manitoba does provide the property Assessment and we only owe about 10% of that on our mortgage, I looked into licensed appraisers but they are pretty pricey. I was wondering if the tax assessment would be enough, so here's hoping (crossing fingers and toes)... that's why I'm putting in all of our other available assets too so we are covered either way. Since you have a buyer that probably changes things a bit too... With so many documents I think the cover letter is crucial to explain what you are including and why.

Good luck!!! Hope your approval comes quickly
