I had my interview scheduled at 9 AM today. It was initially scheduled on Dec 9th but since they didn't get my file they couldn't do it on that day. As per my request, they promptly called me and scheduled me for today. I was called in little before 9 and was done by around 9:20..It was smooth where the officer went through the standard procedure (first history then English spoken and written test) and then asked questions while going through my application..He said I have passed and scheduled me for the oath in the afternoon..I will take the oath shortly this afternoon..The officer mentioned that I can bring family & friends and a camera to take pics..I see all the officers being very friendly and courteous..

Good luck to all those still in the queue..

Congratulations! I'm glad it was sorted out so quickly... I know you were worried when your interview was rescheduled. It's great that Dallas offers same-day oath ceremonies!

Hi everyone! i passed my interview test today! everything went smooth and nice,the interview was at 8 a.m i wasn't called until 8:45 .answered the 6 easy questions then the officer asked me to wait 15 more minutes for the Oath notice. the Ceremony will be 12/19 @10:30 a.m

so excited :dancing: !

My daughter and I had our interviews today. We passed!!

It was a little stressful getting there... we were rear ended on the freeway (other car swerved to miss us and only clipped the back side, but his car slammed into the median and flipped a couple times!). Luckily no one was hurt, including the other guy. My daughter's car needs repairs, especially the back tire and rim, which made the car undrivable. We were really early, so after all was said and done, we were only 10 minutes late. My husband came and got us and drove us the rest of the way there. Her car was towed (I was driving her car because mine was getting the brakes replaced).

Let me see if I can remember our questions (the interviewer interviewed us at the same time, which was nice. He asked her 6 questions and me a different 6 questions:

If both the President and the Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes President?

What does the President’s Cabinet do?

Name one branch or part of the government.
We elect a U.S. Senator for how many years?
How many justices are on the Supreme Court?

That's all I can remember... my daughter had "What's the rule of law?", What ocean is on the west coast?", "What's the name of the national anthem?"... and that's all I can remember,

I told him I was amused we had to do the English test (read and write a sentence) since our first language is English.

What an exciting day! Our oath ceremony should be in 4-6 weeks. :)

17 days after passing interview and still waiting for the oath letter. The new tracking system still has me on interview scheduled...

Same boat, They gave me Form N652 asked i passed, and Writing decision in mail and waiting now 18 days no update , feel upset so much :( dont know how long to get Oath letter .... Too tired of waiting game :((

Sorry to hear some people are still waiting to take the oath after the interview is over. I had my interview at the dallas field office on Dec 11th and luckily I could take the oath same day. I guess it depends on the location. It seems the oath will be same day for Dallas with rare exceptions. There were total 67 people during my oath ceremony..I hope those still in the queue for Oath will get it done asap..Irony is its difficult to apply for passport in the dallas area as all the big post offices are doing it by appointment only and some dont have slots until next month. I had to pick one that allows walk-in and had to go early morning and spend close to 3 hours to get it done..May be its not that hectic at other places..

Same boat, They gave me Form N652 asked i passed, and Writing decision in mail and waiting now 18 days no update , feel upset so much :( dont know how long to get Oath letter .... Too tired of waiting game :((

I had, and successfully passed my interview on the 22nd September. I didn't get my oath letter until the 18th November - 57 days later. Point being, I really wouldn't be fretting about it after 18 days. Relax - it's coming. ;)

My interview was on 12dec and was approved so just been a week of waiting so can't complain much yet.....
