They all lie to get elected, everyone knows that. But actions speak louder than words. The actions during the Bush administration nearly crippled this country. The actions of the Obama administration have slowly brought this country back to somewhat solid ground.

I voted for Bush............................twice. Shame on me, I should've quit after the first time. His Presidency was all smoke and mirrors and we've been paying for it ever since.

And actually the first video is spot on for the time it aired. The second video is a flat out lie.

I am not defending Bush or vilifying Obama.. Just on the points for this thread and the promises Obama made.. As someone said we all knew it was BS at the time and still voted for him. Your comment seemed to blame Bush for Obamas failed promises.. Even if Bush is 100% responsible for the problems it does not excuse the next politician to make false promises just to get the vote..

It's cause and affect. The actions of the Bush admin have forced the hands of the Obama admin to take the actions they have. The spending and increased debt are nothing more than fallout from the Bush admin. The stimulus was started by Bush and continued by Obama in an effort to pull the country out of a recession, so far it has worked. The two wars that Bush so recklessly got the country into are now drawing to an end under Obama. How does that equate to Obama being just as free with the military as Bush was? Erosion of personal liberties under Obama? I don't really see it being all that bad, how bout the Patriot act under Bush?
