Going on 6 months now since we filed our K1 Visa App on 11/18/13 through the Texas Serv. Ctr..They are so damnn slow and need to hire more people..This is really uncalled for that people have to wait 6 months and more for these idiots to process paperwork that was prepared by an Immigration Atty..Everytime you call any service center, all your talking to is the front end people that are low level employees that will not tell you anything except generic responses..you need to have your atty call there and demand to talk to a dept. officer and they will give them the most up to date information available on your case..I called 6 times past two weeks and NOONE could tell me what date of filed apps they were working on..My atty called and the Dept. Officer told him the current date they are working on..this is an FYI so you guys don't keep calling those nitwits on the front line...

I hear you. We filed 11/18, so I hope the information your attorney got was correct. The closer we get to the approval stage, the harder the waiting gets!!

Peace.

I already told my Atty that this is WHAT I GOT for doing the right thing??!!..If The Serv. Ctr. doesn't process my app by 6/15, I'm withdrawing it entirely and going to my Plan B which I'm not disclosing here, but enough is enough.!!..I pay crazy amount of $$ each year to this gov't on my personal & business taxes and I'll be damned if I'm gonna have these Hillbillies that work in the Texas Service Center turn my life upside down because they're too damned lazy to do their job in a timely manner..They cashed my check 2 days after they filed my app..now that they have my $$, they could care less..

It is correct what they told him...BUT, That doesn't mean that I'm only days away from them processing mine...Remember, When you call down there, they give that generic B.S. how they process over 30,000 applications a day all over the country..Blah, Blah, Blah...I'm at the end of my Tolerence with this entire process..

I really don't understand how CSC can process a petition in 2 weeks & yet for the past month, I've hardly seen any people on VJ report approvals from TSC that were not expedited approvals.

Thank you for this post, our notice date is 12/27/2013 at Texas of course. At least now I have some idea when our petition will be approved, at least another month if not more. Needless to say I am frustrated by this whole procedure!

I received my NOA1 on May 1st, I am stressed out and I have not been waiting as long as everyone else. There is alot complaints and frustration with TSC and rightfully so. No one should have to wait that long, but you notice how quickly the checks are cashed?? Go figure!! Best wishes to all and Thank you PATFONT for the FYI.

I have been following a few time lines and there are a few applications that have been approved past the date posted by the OP. When I started my thread a couple from Dominique Republic replied with the same mailing date 12-09-13 with NOA1 date of 12-161-13 and they were approved on 04-24-2014 another couple from Pakistan that applied in November also updated their NOA2 approval date to 03-28-14, their NOA1 date was 11-09-14

So we have hope:=)

Hey...fands...I think that dominican couple ur talking about is me ...lol

BUT...Icontacted my district congressman...which I believe helped hurry it along....my petition was sent to nvc on 5/2....and as of 5/12 I have my case #...but guess what...now I'm in AP at the NVC....imagine that....after I really thought that my file was moving along fairly well....them a**holes...still found a way to slow it down. Drag it on....make my life a little more miserable. ..my nerves a little thinner...it's just ridiculous. ..it's so unfair for any of us who are legitimately in love and wanting to do things the right was the legal way to be put thru so much red tape to the benefit of who? ? But yet they make it so easy for those who have been here illegally for so long to nsturalize while still in the US with just another waiver more no penalty no repercussions...how fair is that...they get a smack on the hand while weeee get a slap in the face....

Well i hear you..i believe they should complete Nov filers and December filers....Gosh having to wait while other petitions are getting approved rather quickly infuriates me and all of you waiting longer than myself and my fiance. I wish that you could receive yours soon enough and i wish that i can receive mine aswell...OMG it is stressing me out so much and i am getting obsessed with checking the USCIS website daily! I also hired an attorney to do all the paperwork for us.. :ranting: but youre getting closeer to your approval so dont cancel it.. If you came this far and payed alot of money and gave your precious time do NOT cancel it..My advice! :) Hang in there!! Just think VSC have it worst then us..they wait more than a year!
