K1 Visa Not Delivered Yet

Hi everyone. I was approved for a K1 Visa last May 5, I guess I'm just too excited to have it with me but when I called the Embassy, I was told by the agent that my visa is still with the embassy. The the agent told me not to book any tickets yet because there's no exact turn around time when my visa will be delivered. I don't want to panic but we already booked our tickets; my fiance will be flying here in the Philippines and we'll leave together on the 24th of July.

Can anyone share their experience please. Is this normal?

Hey send an email to this passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com subject will be your passport number. Check your IUD or mnl number at the 2go website too. It might be already in transit. :)

Hi! Thank you for your reply! I did checked with 2Go's website but unfortunately, it shows the status of my old US Tourist Visa last 2012 with my UID number. I tried my case number and also my passport number with no luck.

I'll definitely try emailing them. Thank you so much!

Hahahaha.. I could understand your. I was the same way. I just don't stop checking the status everytime i can, I did the same thing. just keep sending an email to the passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com and you will be surprise it would change hehe

Hi, I had my interview last May 5, 2014 too, still waiting for it. I tried checking it online through ceac.state.gov, entered my case number and there I read that my visa is already been issued and it was updated last May 9, 2014. I'll probably receive it this week, if i haven't receive my passport after 10 days I should call the embassy at 982-5555

I am afraid to tell you there is no definite processing time from approval, administrative processing, issued, and delivered. Go to the Philippines sub-forum or ask fellow VJ members there about average time to get visa in hand. But, If you have to leave in July that probably enough time for you - about 2 months from now-. I read some VJ fellow from the Philippines here got visa in hand more than a month after got approved at the interview because she needed to submit divorce paper of her fiancé. 06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
