Yes, each region has a cutoff for each month. AS is 2500 for OCT, and 2950 for Nov Which mean all the CN below 2500 will be interviewed OCT and 2500-2950 will be interviewed NOV.

BUT if you submit your DS260 late then you need to wait till they validate and schedule the interview.

You are current for OCT, so your interview will in OCT 2014.

If you haven't received an interview notification yet it probably won't be in October, but November. There has been some delay this year.

Have you checked the website to be sure there is no notification letter yet (same website you used to check if you'd been selected)?

It's normally 6-8 weeks before interview.

You don't send anything to NVC (who have nothing to do with DV cases at all) or anywhere else (other than a few embassies who require documents upfront but they will let you know if they do).

KCC will update your entrant status check page with interview details when your number is current. They will send a mail, but that will simply tell you to check the ESC page. You won't hear anything from them before you are current,

How did you know that you are expected for the interview? Cause this years asian last cut off number was something like 7600 ish.
