right mouse click on someones flag and then look at the properties and it will show you the location of the image. You can either copy the url and use it in yours signature or go to the website to find the flags you need

No you cannot paste it in per se you need to do it as an import image and then copy in the url

Here is how you do it you edit your signature and click the insert image icon in the editor and copy the first link below into the box for a German flag, and do the same for the second link below for an American flag

I think you are making it more difficult than it needs to be. Copy the lines below into your signature block. After you do, replace the regulare parenthesis () around IMG and /IMG with the squared parenthesis []

One thing I like a lot is photobucket. You can upload your pictures there and they will give you a link to the image so you can use it in forums, on myspace, or whatever you choose to use it for. It comes in very handy. Photobucket
