We sent our application 10 days ago and now we just got the receipt# form I-797, what will be the next ? Is this the waiting period?

Yes, after you received NOA-1, it is the time to wait while USCIS do check all papers that you sent in. After approval, the next steps would be processing K-1 visa. For seeking a better answer after approval of I-129F, go to the Philippines forum since each US consulates/embassies have their own requirements for visa applicants. Good luck!

Yes, it's waiting period until you receive your NOA2, and hopefully no RFE in the process.
