I might be in the wrong section but I think it works for both. I filed for the I-130 my question is the following. I want to add my husband to our car, it was a gift from my brother and he needs to be on it for when God willing he comes to the USA and finds a job. I wonder if immigration will be suspiciou about this since we could use it as more proof of a bona fide marriage. I just don't know what to do, don't want them to think I'm pulling something. I'm really paranoid about every little thing and don't want to make a move until I can find out what I should do. Will have to send the paper work to Egypt so he can sign it. What do you guys think of this is it something I go a head and do or not?

IMO, if you think doing so will present a more compelling case, then by all means do it. I don't see why any officials would consider this suspicious.

FYI, he doesn't need to be on the title in order to operate the car, just the insurance policy.

Nope didn't think it would help actually thought it would cause problems thus the question. Just suggested I could and that might be a red flag is all. I thought you have to be on the title to drive a car. I'm an idiot hahahaa well that's a relief thank you for the information I do appreciate it. Will save me DHL $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

He doesn't need to be in the title. If a bank has a lien on the vehicle, it could be a big hassle to add someone else to the title.

He only needs to have a drivers license and to be on the insurance policy as a driver in order to drive the car with no issues.

I see there is no lien but I guess it's better to wait until he get's here. I just always have the need to do things right away and not leave anything for later. But I do see your point. Ty again.

You can add him to the insurance. Married couples normally get a lower rate.

Title to the car is about who owns it, never added my husband to the re existing vehicles even after he came to the US. Never added him to the houses. No problem with immigration.

Thank you just thought it could help since I was (was) going to do it anyway. It's not as easy now as it was just a year ago it seems. Thank you for your insight.
