Helli VJyers!! My husband petitioned my daughter , she jist passed her medical yesterday and she's gonna have her interview August 5th, what are the requirements they need during the interview?? I have read the checklist but theres one thing that confuses me, regarding the IMMIGRANT APPLICATION 1 and 2 it says ® which means

I have completed the application online. So my question is does the CO ask for a print copy of it??? Do i need to bring a copy of i864EZ that we sent to the NVC?? I only have the print of the confirmation page that says we did the ds260 ...pls help? What are the important documents they usually ask aside from those listed on the checklist cuz i have everything sent to NVC already... im getting nervous. My daughter is only 5yrs old and i have to take her with me back to US.

Hi VJers,

We are in the initial step of filing an I-130 for my daughter. My USC husband, who is the step-parent of my daughter will be the petitioner.

I would like to ask confirmation if with the following documents below will suffice in a petition approval?

- Filing Fee of $420

- I-130 petition for minor, unmarried child

- child's birth certificate (does not reflect the biological father's name)

- USC birth certificate & passport

- USC and biological mother marriage certificate

- biological mother's birth certificate

- photos of my husband with me & my daughter

-G1145 notification

Hoping for your response--we will be mailing petition in the next couple of days.

Thank you,

CharisseVD

RE: $165 visa processing fee

My stepson and stepdaughter arrived in the US in June 2014. We didn't pay the fee since as soon as they were admitted into the US, they became citizens. USCIS sent notices for a couple of months, but we didn't pay them,. We applied for their passports soon after and received them. The notices stopped coming after about 3 months, until now (almost 2 years later), they started up again. ????? We got one 2 weeks ago and again today. They have been US passport holders for 18+ months.

The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and vice versa. US government beauracracy. You gotta love it.

There is no more DS-230. There is an online DS-260? A photocopy of the civil documents must be sent to the NVC to get a case complete.

Ur right I submitted ds 260 but the problem is I sent the I 864w by dhl and on the site they say that all documents should be sent in 1 package and sending multiple packages can cause delay so I'm lost

They don't go over ANY of your documents until they have all of them. So you're just delaying by not sending.
