As others have stated, if you want to receive correspondence from NVC by email, then you'll have to contact them and give over all email addresses.

But, before I email them I need to wait for my case number to be generated, correct?? Thank you.

When quoting someone, make sure you put it OUTSIDE of the quote :P But yes, a case number needs to be assigned before an operator can add data to your case.

STARTED A NEW MARCH 2014 FILERS SECTION. REPLY PLEASE!

First off, please don't yell :P

And second, someone will come along and answer. I don't join/answer I-130 filer threads.

Please any Nigerian here who has obtained their police certificate, can I obtain it from any police headquarter in Nigeria?

Yes you can get PCC from any police department in Nigeria but realize it will cost more and take more time. allow a week so don't wait until last minute.

No matter where you order it it has to go to main headquarters in Algabon so thats why it takes some time and some police station may charge as much as N30,000 so watch out. I sure would not mention it is for Visa to US. You are asking to pay more money.

Hi Saylin

We just received a dreaded checklist. It's ok though we are not panicking. It has come in two parts. One specific request for something missing on the AOS which is part 2.

Part 1 is a general request for all of my civil documents, but we have already confirmed with them back in Feb that this package was received. It says they have received my DS260 but cannot review without the supporting civil documents.

Is it normal for them to issue a checklist for AOS and add in the request for the civil documents too falsely?

Thanks

Those that get just false checklists have perfect packages, so no real checklists. In your case, since you had something missing/wrong, there's the real checklist, plus the usual fake checklist.

Hi everyone

So I have my interview soon and I'm to take my I130 with me to the interview...

So we're a bit confused on the household size.

It's my father who filed for I and my sixteen year old brother(I'm nineteen) so my brother filed i864w

Ps: we're in the ir2 category

PART 5 of the AOS

sponsor's house hold size:

Persons you are sponsoring on this affidavit

1. Enter the number you entered on line 7 of part 3

Well my father entered one

Persons not sponsored in this affidavit:

2.Yourself____

3.if you're currently married enter one for your spouse____

4.If you have dependent children enter the number here___..

Now my question is that is my father suppose to enter one on line four of part five(since my brother is a dependent child)??.. so therefore the total number on line 8 of part fivewhich asks to add together lines one to seven would be three..I.e I, my father and my brother ryt?? SOMEONE PLS HELP WITH A REPLY ASAP COS MY INTERVIEW IS SOOO CLOSE ALREADY.. TANX FOR UR HELP IN COMMENTS..

IN ANTICIPATION ZLEK..

Ok thanks. The real checklist was issued because My Wife______'s income indicated on the I-864EZ

Part 19 does not correspond to that shown on the most recent tax return and W-2(s).
This is what we were worried about and I spoke to you about last month. Her tax return automatically rounds up to the nearest dollar!
I don't really know how we can resolve this which is worrying! My wife is calling them now.
