Spoke too soon, just got a notification that I am scheduled for an interview!! YAY! So hopefully the letter comes next week and I'll know the date.. :) They probably just waited until I was in-line for a month :)

Received my Bio-metrics letter in the mail yesterday...I am booked for June 6, 2014..

Also, did you guys notice USCIS has switched to regular (cheaper) paper from better quality paper but the fees is still the same... lol

i am just curious what the message would be in My Case Status once you are scheduled for interview. Will it contain the date, or it will just say scheduled for interview???

On May 22, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview. You will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address"

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thanks.

It will say that you have been scheduled and you will be receiving a letter. The letter is the only thing that tells you the date of the interview.

It seems all the Dallas lockbox applicants have all reached fingerprinting notices stage but no interview letters yet while some of the other lockbox applicants have started receiving them.

So Dallas side is slower and Atlanta field office seems to be the slowest and lookig at 6 to 7 months processing time - 2 months more then the national average.

Hi guys, this is a question for people who are applying based on 3 year residence/,marriage- since the form asks for last 5 years of residence and travel history, did you really submit the addresses and travel dates of even prior to coming to US..(honestly cant remember the dates or exact addresses).. or did you just leave those extra boxes/sections- blank?
