Hello, Does anyone know how far ahead is the date for the available if I schedule the interview now? Is it in couple days, weeks,or months? just curious... Thanks

It depends on the consulate and how they go about scheduling interviews. For the Mexican consulate you can't see the calendar until you go to their website and pay the fee. Once the payment is confirmed, you can see the calendar and pick whatever works for the beneficiary, my fiance had the option to pick from 3 dates that were about 1 1/2 month away.

Philippines is so booked if you were to book now it would probably be for June or July. You select your appointment date you know so its really up to you.

LOL because I follow the threads and the talk and i admin over the case complete interview thread for the IR1/CR1. I read all I can about every embassy and go to their websites and contact them so I can come back and answer peoples questions.

Because of all the expedites I believe someone said the calendar is up for May or June but its getting full. Look at the interviews just today 10 VJ K1's from Philippines interviewing. Can you imagine how many more outside of this website interviewed today.

Have u gone to the scheduling website and looked around? You can't book but you can see whats available to know whats up currently.

Once you pay your fee, I advise you log on each day and look for openings. Some people cancel and spots open. If you see a good slot, grab it fast.

As per dwheels, the Philippines can be very booked. Back in October 2013 I tried booking and I could not get an appointment for my fiancee until January 2014! I can't imagine what the calendar looks like now.

I'm part of a Fil-Am Group on Facebook and one person just got an interview date for the end of this month. Just keep checking, there are always openings that come up.

Latest I heard even April is booked solid, if you someone cancels for March or April something might show up. Watch for May to open up in another week.

Question: Do the availability for interviews differ from K-1 and CR-1? Or are they both based off of the same availability?

Normally CR-1 are scheduled by NVC (they don't get to schedule their own), I would guess they share the same calendar dates being the K-1 is processed by the Immigration unit at the embassy.
