Ohhhh - what kind of questions did she ask? :) (congrats!!)

She asked my full name, address, bday, and ssn. After that she asked my husband how we met. Where and when he proposed to me.

She asked the copy of tax return, joint account,insurance and took some of the pictures.

I have been tracking filers from other months pretty closely everyday and by the looks if it, the applications that were received by the USCIS between the 16th Jan to 23rd Jan are getting acceptances

Sorry, but I'm collecting documents now and I wonder what do you mean by "immigration file"? Every notice of action, i94, visa?

My immigration file is where I keep all the documentation that pertains to my case. Basically it has everything I have ever sent to or received from USCIS/Consulate etc.... It helps to get a system to keep your paperwork organized when you go into your interview so you are not fumbling around looking for documentation when they ask you.

Totally agreed! Surprisingly enough, I kind of enjoy putting it all together. You're coming up soon! Sending good energy your way.

I'm the same way - I found that going through all my paperwork and organizing it helped to calm me down when I would stress about the interview. In the end the IO asked for 3 pieces of paper out of the entire mountain I had compiled lol. I feel like the level of organization you display with your paperwork and interview directly relates to the level of importance you place on the process.

I received this message today regarding my EAD:

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production


On May 9, 2014, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days.

I read on VJ that I would receive a tracking number. Is this true for most people? I live in the same city as the local USCIS office; so I wonder if I will not receive a tracking number. My husband has a job interview today and we really need the EAD like yesterday.

Yep, I got the same message today, and was a little bummed no tracking number was provided.

Still happy in another gazillion ways though!

F-1 Visa: Academic years 2007/2010.

K-1 Visa: I-129F sent Aug 2013; Approved Jan 2014.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

When my card was readyi got the same message, then got a tracking number later that evening. You'll get yours today I'm sure :)

nikkosan and paige, give it a few hours, (maybe until tomorrow?) i got mine on may 6h, the 1st email around noon time, and the tracking number around 4-5pm. And although the tracking number gave me a est. delivery date of 5 days, i got it the day after (may 7th). Give it a bit of time (i know its hard and every hour counts), its approved and its coming your way :)

The EAD case status was changed to card processing on May 6. The application for AP still says initial review. Could this mean that the EAD was approved and AP was not approved?

You'll see on your EAD if it says "also serves as i512" :) my AP is still in the decision stage even though I've received my card it never went to card production.

Today go to make ssn card super easy... I prepare a lot of document in case.. but they just look my passport and my EAD card that is !!!

and wait for 1 week in mail ...

Oh yea, that's true, but I don't think they would want to look at k1 package, but you were well prepared. After interview I'm going to organize all my imigration papers. I have to keep it in one place, as for now it's in bag, somewhere in desks... We just still don't have our own space, but tomorrow I will get ead and the work will start! :)
