Our NOA1 is also Feb 6th and our packet is at the nebraska service center.

This waiting is so hard. I want to believe it will go quickly but every time I hope I'm afraid I will be so disappointed. We were hoping to move to the states by October/Nov, but if our i130 doesn't get approved soon, it seems like we'll be stuck until next year. :-( I don't know what to think anymore. Some people here in the forum are saying things are moving and they are almost up to february, others are saying that only the ones after feb 10th who were transferred out of NSC are getting approved and some are even saying that we might not see approvals for several more months.

Could really use some encouragement. Anyone have any good news?

I'm feb 10th and didn't get transferred just so you know. I think most transfers were after the 12th. I saw a feb 6th person here get an RFE on Friday, so I think it's getting closer to us! Let's keep faith, I decided to leave it all up to God's time :)

Sorry to be Danny Downer, but October / November is wildly optimistic. Even if you were approved by USCIS today, the NVC stage is averaging 127 days, and the consular stage about a month more. We were hoping for a January move, and even that looks overly optimistic. :ranting: Our PD is Feb. 14.

This process has been a real eye-opener, and I plan to become politically active upon my return home to make some change in the legal immigration process, especially in view of this whole illegal amnesty business.

Could things get more confusing?

02/25/2014 noa1 NSC
07/08/2014 case transferred email
07/12/2014 received letter with notice case was sent to TSC
07/24/2014 rfe email
07/28/2014 received rfe letter but it came from CSC

Called USCIS to confirm that my case is at CSC and no longer at TSC. They said according to receipt number my case should be at NSC. I explained that due to high volume of cases mine was transferred and I received notice it went to TSC. Agent said TSC has a high volume of cases so mine must have been transferred again to CSC but could not confirm it. Agent said to respond to RFE to the service center on the notice.

I am happy if my case is truly at CSC but seems like USCIS agent should be able to confirm this. Will send requested documents tomorrow and cross my fingers that everything comes together. What a crazy process, just trying to keep a sense of humor.

That's crazy! I hope it gets sorted and in your favor.

May I ask what the RFE was for?

Good luck!
