I filed in early June & I received rfe mail with options to provide proof of a bonifide marriage.

I have no property or anything under both our names,

only a birth certificate of our daughter who was born in late August

and pictures when I went for a visit in April.

Do I have to provide the original birth certificate or will a copy do?

Would this be enough evidence?

you should have secondary evidence:

1. receipts showing payment for trips to see your spouse

2. receipts for any hotels or amusements in your spouse's country

3. photos of the two of you together with the spouse's family

4. telephone logs

5. chat logs

6. sms /text logs

then some primary evidence:

1. receipts for any remittances sent

2. taxes filed for tax year 2012, filed in 2013

Money transfers are a judgement call based on your embassy and who is sending money to who. If a woman is sending it may look like she is being scammed (especially if she is older). If its the beneficiary sending it could be looked at like they are buying a Visa.

We support our spouses that's a fact but it doesn't mean the CO will see it that way.

If you already included nothing you can do now. But you have to think like a CO and what it looks like a woman sending money to a man.

Thanks for the explanation. I think its safe for me to use the receipts as evidence in my case as we do not have any red flags as such regarding the age gap and my husband is the petitioner. We have completely different tastes so he sends money rather than buying the gifts himself. :)
