Thats sad to hear and to think nvc received your file first than ours..so its possible they dont have case numbers for filers like us with these dates. :-(

I have seen cases after me,but have their case numbers already. I think its not a first come, first serve basis after all.

Depends on if you have any checklists or if they process your paperwork fast or slow. Each section can take up to 30 business days to review (that means up to a month and a half of normal time.) So add those up together that's 90 business days, minus any checklists so up to 4 months, if they take the full time to process and you don't have any checklists. So triple check your forms and documentation before sending it in.

Normally it only takes between 10-20 business days to check everything, but they will tell you the 30 day route. That 30 days resets when you have to respond to a checklist and is from the time they receive your documents to the time they finish the review. The NVC deals with almost 50,000 spousal visas a year plus give numbers and scan in fiance visas and other visa types as well. Patience is a virtue but at least you can make sure you do your paperwork correctly.

wow.gifwow.gif and :wow: im so tired of complaining how long and unfair this wait is... ill just try to exercise my patience...

PS: you stole my line! i always say "patience is a virtue..." but then i finish it off by saying "a virtue i dont have"

You schedule the medical based off of when you get the interview date unless brazil is odd that way? So it doesn't matter what you answer on there, as long as you have proof of the vaccinations come interview time.

Got it! I'm not sure yet how the Brazilian consulate does things. I'll check on it. Thank you
