True, although it will bear an endorsement stating that the holder is a US national and not a US citizen.

Timeline

I received amazing news on Friday, I got my interview date!! I saw that they posted new dates for the I-485 on August 7 and the date of my local office was working on was February 14, 2014. My date of my I-485 notice is February 10, so I thought I would file a service request and see if it sped up my file being transferred to my local office. Online it still says it is at NBC. I was expecting a standard response that Fort Smith would request my file and I would hear anything for another few months. When I check my mailbox on Friday I had a letter from USCIS which said as follows:

"On August 7 you contacted USCIS concerning your I-485, to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing times. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been resolved.

On August 14, 2014, after you inquired about your I-485, we sent your interview notice to you using the most recent address we have on file. You are scheduled to appear September 23, 2014. The notice should arrive within 14 days"

I received the notice on Saturday. I am so happy that this may be the end of this journey and I may be able to go and see my family soon!!!!

Hannah, how did you manage to expedite the process? I called them, and they told me that because there are no processing time right now in NBC they cannot do it...With USCIS it looks like some things work for some people and does not work for others...it is like there is no system with them...maybe i am tripping i don't know...just plain hiking already not enough to calm myself down......

If any alien wants my help and he/she was victim of mental then the alien has to show me first the psychological evaluation, otherwise I will not even consider helping with the case.Sick and tired people using my time and vanishing,if you do not have the evaluation do not even contact me please.

I will not call any psychologist/counselor anymore. You need to hire a professional willing to perform a psychological evaluation, and I will not take any psychologist or counselor phone calls to tell them how to draft an evaluation. The professional you hired should be GREAT.

The alien must describe the abuse in details.90% of the affidavits are really bad, missing a bunch of information.I will not spend my time on the phone to get information to fix it the alien affidavit. The alien must describe the courtship and abuse.I will review the case just to let you know what is missing,to delete what is not necessary but not for me to draft basically the whole affidavit.

lop I gave you the information considering your husband is a green card holder. If he is american you can file anytime you want. You can flll out I-765 (work permit) now since your Vawa was approved, just use category ( C ) ( 14 ) if your Vawa was approved with deferred action.

I am going to request support from members here willing to give me a little push. I am very depressed today. My day has been hectic... I had to ask my ex-husband for a favor and he did it in such attitude that it brought back the memories and the feelings I went thru while living with him. If I had forgotten at a point what it was to live in hell I sure remembered today. I have faith that better days will come, but this time my load felt as too much. I can't go thru the details of everything that's going on and I know there are members here going thru economic hardships. I know I must chin up. I just need a boost of energy I am drained. Good luck to all waiting on approvals and interviews

C-9 is if you have already filed an I-485.
