I must say that this forum has been of tremendous help in helping me and my fiancee with our paperwork. The most helpful advice and support from those going through the same situations are invaluable. My cousin had gone through the same (K1) process in 2005. Although it was before the whole IMBRA ordeal, her (now) husband started me off with a list of things he included in his petition...and then introduced me to VJ. Now, nine months later, my fiancee is currently on the last steps of the process as she is in Manila with her interview in a few days. I am a little disappointed in that although my uncle works for USCIS, his words were little and of no help at all. So my advice to all who are about to take their first step into the visa process: take full advantage of the help, advice and support that this forum provides. Also, USCIS and your respective embassy websites are invaluable tools to help you through. I will admit that waiting for NOA2 (petition approval notice) is indeed the hardest and most stressful part of the whole process. It is without a doubt that everyone wants to be with their significant other yesterday. But listen to me well; relax! If you've done everything right the first time, all you can do is wait! Don't think for one second that anyone has forgotten you or lost your petition/case. Take the time to not only do your homework for your case, but also make good use of the time you have to know and be with your s/o through whatever means of communication you have whether it be email, instant messenging, phone, letters and whatnot. Be creative with the time you do get to spend with him/her. For example, online shopping and traveling. The technology is there to bring us closer to each other than in the past. USE IT! Above all else, as long as you have three things: communication, trust and love, time will pass by so fast, by the time you receive your interview date, you will have sworn you just submitted your petition yesterday. No matter what visa process you're in, relax, have faith in everything set before you and that you will be with your loved one soon enough. Soon enough! Best of luck to you all and Happy Holidays!

Your so right.... the 82 days to NOA2 seems like nothing and what reinforces that is it took only 17 days to go from NOA2 to the Consulate....

The only problem is I need to wait for 2006 W2's So that puts a 3-4 week slow down on returning packet three.. but you know what...We made it pass the NOA1 and NOA2 Dead Zone...lol if we did that we can do what is left with ease....

Yes is doesn't seem like it was Sept 14th when I overnighted my I-129F...Seems like yesterday...
