Change of address for beneficiary

Hi guys,

I am new on VJ and looking for some help regarding my case. I filed form i130 for my husband back in May 2013. We heard back couple weeks ago saying they moved our case to the Texas service center. So our case is still in initial review. My husband is living outside the US and is now moving to a different house but in the same city. I called the USCIS couple times and they told me to write a letter to the texas service center and provide supporting docs with his change of address and such. Does anyone know how do I go about writing this kind of letter? What docs do I attach with this letter? Please HELP!

The address of the beneficiary is irrelevant at this juncture. Once the file is at the NVC, ensure that the correct address is inputted on all forms.

August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

July 23, 2025:  Filed N-400 online

Thanks for getting back to me guys. But the Uscis told me that you have to do it while the case is pending so he can get any mail from us on his new address. I am so confused if I should wait till the approval or mail the letter to Texas service center now. I don't want them to say why we waited till after the approval to change the address and have that create problems for us. Any advice?

USCIS does not send any kind of correspondence to the beneficiary. Whoever told you they did gave you inaccurate information.
