Having a nightmare with out application. This year has been ruined by incompetence. Applied in April and got a RFE on July 30th which we received 6 weeks later! and only after a info pass. Replied to RFE and they received it on September 11th since then nothing but lies from USCIS and the congress office we have 'helping' us has been next to useless. Called yesterday and a service request has now been sent as officer on phone couldn't see or understand why we have been made to wait so long. Anyone else had a service request sent? Or been put through hell like this?

NOA1 - APRIL 19th

RFE - SEPTEMBER 3rd

RFE REPLY - SEPTEMBER 11th

NOA2 - DECEMBER 20th 'approved'

MEDICAL - JANUARY 24th

NVC LEFT - FEBRUARY 3rd

EMBASSY RECEIVED - FEBRUARY 7th

DS-160 and NOAR - FEBRUARY 7th

well i am so sorry you are going through his as alot of us went through it before...well personally i did put a service request this year when i was going through the uscis but that service request never got consideration from the uscis or got answered by them in spite of fact the customer service kept telling me to wait for 30 business times every time this period gets over....i am hoping your suffering with this process gets to an end soon with the uscis and get approved and go ahead for your life.

I am so sorry that you guys are going through this. We also applied in April and my husband then my fiance has been here with me since October. I was going to say to contact your congressman which you already did maybe you should involve an immigration lawyer. Goodluck

I am so sorry for this. I know the same feeling cause I have been through what you're going through except receiving the the RFE too late.

I got our RFE notice around April 5 2013 received the hard copy around 4 days after, replied after 2 days then they received our RFE reply on April 17 2013. We got approved July 17. I contacted USCIS and emailed a congressman but non of that helped. What we did was we contacted Vermont in this email address on our 60th day (if you are bring processed in California, email is below)

California Service Center: csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov

Vermont Service Center: vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov

After 21 days I contacted this email address and got approved after 5 days

SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov.

We just wrote a very detailed description of our case, dates.. Basically writing your timeline. Let the petitioner write the email. Hope this helps.

By the way I went on a K1 visa

Yea I had Chrissy send a email with all our details and timeline of application to the USCIS head office (scopsscata@dhs.gov) as well yesterday so fingers crossed that helps us as well. I have been looking on here at people's experiences with service requests and seems that the people who sent requests when way over processing time normally get approved 5 to 10 days later.

Oh and thought I should let ya know we did issue a E request at start of November which was never actually answered hence why I thought mailing head office would help this time.
