So, I've been absent from VJ for a few month because I've been to busy to read or post anything. I've been looking for a job, sending out tons of applications; at the same time, I'm working hard to fulfill my graduation requirements, which means endless days of reading and writing. The job search went well despite a horrible job market, and I have a few interviews next week. We'll see how that will pan out, but hopefully I 'll land a job as my husband and I are quite ready to leave this place (we were planning to move last year but then the immigration thing interfered).

Anyway, I did miss you guys, and wanted to wish you all the best and happy holidays.

Permanent Green Card Holder since 2006, considering citizenship application in the future.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

CHERISH YESTERDAY, LIVE TODAY AND DREAM TOMORROW

Life is like a song... Sing it.

Life is like a challenge... Pursue it.

Life is like a sacrifice... Offer it.

Life is love... Enjoy it.
