25 November 2013 - Alien Registration Number Changed

14 January 2014 - NOA2 (54 days after NOA1)

17 January 2014 - USCIS Shipped to NVC

29th January 2014 - NVC Recieved and assigned Case #

4th February 2014 - Abu Dhabi Embassy Recieved our case and the status is now "READY" for interview

24th September 2014 - Interview date - FINGERS CROSSED!

Hi fellow NovFilers, I'm back home,my week with my honey felt more like a weekend, time flies when your having fun!

I'm trying to catch up on everyone's status,, last I got was letter stating Jan 7, 2014 my approved petition was sent to state department, so, I wait to see what happens next.

I think this last trip to Africa was my last until this process is over, Unless I hit lottery... anyway, I'm just anxious to get to the end and he's here!

WOW!!!! The waiting game starts again for me......Turns out that my fiancee and I were looking at the US Embassy payment website in Bogota and it turns out the they don't have any available appointment for K visa until further notice......What the heck!!!!

I also filed in November. I see some have filed before and after me and already received

their N0A2. I guess there is no order to how they process these petitions

For me, the biggest challenge is being unable to visit each other. We're saving up what money would be used in airplane tickets for after I move, as well as vacation days. We both know those first few weeks are going to be insane, both in terms of money and time, so we're saving up. I envy those couples who are able to see each other often.

We are in the same boat. Our timelines are practically identical. I just don't understand how some people who filed after us already received their N0A2. I have visited her twice from Tennessee and she is in China so that is by no means an easy or cheap trip. I am going back to see her on Jan 28-Feb 11. I also plan to be with her during the interview. Hopefully we will get some results soon. I check everyday at least three or four times.
