Packet 4 taking forever ?

Hi, I ve received packet 3 on the middle of september. I gathered all the papers needed, all FILLED, on october the 16th I sent back by mail the DS 2001 and DS 230 form, as it was stated on the procedure.

The tracking number indicates that the mail was delivered on October the 18th, now its November the 28th, so more than 5 weeks and still nothing. I m worried about my NOA2 ( expires on Nov 29th)

SO last week I called the DOS twice, and they told me that it was still in process, no need to worry about my NOA2, it will be automatically extended, nothing to DO, just WAIT.

Anyone has already experienced that ? I heard that the new process was making thing longer but still though ...

I'm still waiting packet 3 from US consulate in Jakarta. It's been more than a by month now after our case was created on CEAC.

You don't have to worry about the expiry date on your NOA2, the embassy can extend it for up to a year. I'm waiting for packet 4 too, and it's been just over 3 weeks since i returned packet 3. I think the quick approvals meant that lots more K1 cases needed to be scheduled for interviews and so the embassies are a little backlogged.
